Normally I follow my own rule of "Never post on social media when you're angry". Tonight I broke that rule and tomorrow I will likely regret it.
However, you can't expect people not to feel frustrated or concerned by current form. It's natural that people who like us are hugely emotionally invested.
I'll be there on Sunday with my season ticket as always. I will back the team, but right now, I'm not feeling confident.
The losing habit/expecting to lose feelings of last season, desperately need to be expunged. Yes we all (definitely including me) need to do our bit.
But please let's not turn on each other as fans.

Disappointing result, of course.
But I don’t think the performance merits any over the top criticism. Had more than enough chances to win two legs.
Thought Chaplin was excellent, showed again his qualities, and why he is still for me one the key members of the group. Thought Ashley Young was excellent, oozes class and quality, and looks ridiculously fit for 40. Also thought Barbrook gave a good account of himself, should be proud of his debut.
Also thought there was another gentle reminder of weaknesses in the squad, all I’m sure KMc is well aware of, will want them addressed and is likely increasingly frustrated, but that falls over to the recruitment team to get the deals over the line.

For what its worth, I expect a defeat.
We arent in a good place at this current point in time, but a lot can and will change before the start of September
