I'd understand it more if this was a live situation but Forest/ Brentford have seemingly cooled their interest since initial bids were rejected.

Tbh I'd see if if he'd played for us for a few years. But giving him his first ever senior loan and then 1 season before he cries to get a move. Disgusting modern day footballer tbh.

KM can't be more upfront about hutch on 23:19 - Aug 12 with 1664 views | petieboy2011 | Disappointed in Hutch but he's been smart by telling McKenna he didnt want to play tonight - making out its because his head isnt in it, but clearly doing it to avoid being cup tied. He has the potential to be the Championship's best player if he stays, but for me he has been too affected by transfer talk now to really feature for Ipswich again. Good luck to the lad, but this situation needs to be dealt with asap because its having a detrimental effect on everyone now!

I wonder if avoiding being cup tied may play a part in another one of our wingers lack of appearance too.

KM can't be more upfront about hutch on 23:21 - Aug 12 with 1602 views | HighgateBlue | Yes, I'm glad the manager is now being honest with the fans. There are many things in the managerial in-tray. One is to reduce the enormous pile of injured players. Another is to reduce the enormous pile of flops for whom we overpaid. And another is to reduce the pile of players who can't play for us because they just don't feel like it. At the moment, it's a basketcase of a squad. It needs fixing. We can get rid of players quickly when we want to. What was that Egyptian fella's name again?

Silly man Could get 20 odd assists and goals this season. End up getting a move to dortmund. And ending up at real Madrid. He's choosing however to go be a bit part prem player who will end up back in the championship on loan next season.

He's got no loyalty though has he, Ipswich, Brentford, Forest etc they are all just stepping stones to where he wants to be which is at one England's elite clubs. It's a shame though, there are plenty of others in the Champ who are subject to PL bids but are turning out for their team. Real shame.

Might be but I would have though its much more likely to try and prevent injury so that nothing can obstruct the deal.

What if he's our Willy Gnonto? That situation hasn't worked out too badly for either party.

Agree - I really didn’t see him being this type of character. If he’s refusing to play to try and force a move to a club like Brentford it shows he never really cared about us anyway. Get rid.
KM can't be more upfront about hutch on 23:29 - Aug 12 with 1390 views | Jrm_72 | What do we think the crowd reaction will be if Omari is named in the squad for Sunday? That can't surely now happen after KM's statement right? But skipping an EFL Cup game vs skipping a league game are two very different things - the latter will come with club fines surely and massive reputational damage. This could get very messy if noone bids past £35m...

I don't think Farke and the Leeds management are as nice and generous as KM, MA & Co. If Omari doesn't want to play while under contract the club should either 1. stop his wages or 2. claim for damages

KM can't be more upfront about hutch on 00:27 - Aug 13 with 1059 views | darkhorse28 | You don’t throw a 21 year old kid under the bus, TWICE to deflect from losing to a fourth division reserve side. He’s a great coach. But there are some areas in management he’s miles off the standard…, it’s REALLY poor. Broady also refused, but he’s got a sore throat…, that’s not how you bring a group of people together with a siege mentality…., by throwing young players under the bus as deflection. He’s honest when it suits him…, where’s the integrity around Broady and his bad throat .., or the club sale position, or this being progress. What I think doesn’t matter. But groups of elite people don’t respond to seeing lack of trust, respect, consistency, and integrity…, they really don’t. This deflection won’t go well with some players…, and they won’t say it…, it will just erode respect. It’s not how players are managed - we looked after Omari very well, and he’s a scapegoat and deflection as soon as it suits. It’s poor, He’s not 0.1% responsible for tactics, motivation, spending so much money for so little motivation, desire, or lack of work rate. They’re all on the management group. You don’t build a siege mentality and motivation like this, it’s really poor.
KM can't be more upfront about hutch on 04:09 - Aug 13 with 894 views | tcblue | His hunger for his career is also what we made plenty of use of, I don't begrudge him any of this, we just sometimes can't see past our own club bias and expect the same from the players. He should be playing in a top league. He knows it, and wants it. The best thing the club can do is what they are doing - being open to a move for him but trying to get the best price for his contract. This is professional football.
KM can't be more upfront about hutch on 05:37 - Aug 13 with 769 views | Bluemike31 | Well it's 5am on the Wednesday after another dire performance from my team and I'm up and showered and ready for work, truth is my head is far from in the right place but still I have to go to work for another shift in the NHS because people need me, just like us fans need you Omari. Stop being a pretentious, spoilt brat and do your job until you're no longer here !!! I'll get paid a pittance compared to you today but I'll be there. It really is doing my head in now the way these prima Donna's conduct themselves.

KM can't be more upfront about hutch on 06:59 - Aug 13 with 539 views | PioneerBlue | Cough up or play is the mantra because we pay the wages. I hope this is really only OH being poorly advised and he’s protecting in case a bid comes and the bids he’s hoping for don’t arrive then he has to get down and play football. He’s not making all that easy though and to fans it looks so poor to bite the hand that feeds.

He just needs to go. Poundshop Ronaldo ain't all that anyway. £35mill would be very welcome and makes him someone else's problem when he decides to sulk.
