A few months away from this place taught me that I had spent far too long arguing the toss with people who aren't as important in my life as my wife and family. I was also guilty of being unnecessarily personal in order to win a pointless argument with a stranger on the internet. I would have thought your year away would have given you time for similar reflection.
The Blue Monday telegram group has also shown me how people can have different opinions on football without the need to resort to personal jibes. In the time I've posted there I haven't seen one fall out.
The old Glassers would have replied to your post with something about not running a whelk stall or some other dig. I'm now into disagreeing agreeably.
