Yeah agree with this.
Funny how people see things differently. I thought Taylor played quite well and we actually looked less like scoring once Clarke went off.
I thought Davis and Johnson were far bigger problems for us yesterday and Jaden, although got into good positions was incredibly wasteful. Not sure he played the right pass in the final third once for us yesterday. | | | |

Clarke gets in Davis' way when he plays out there. Though it seems like it's a similar issue with Philogene so... both prefer to hug the line and cut in rather than cutting in early and leaving space for Davis. | |

Letting the ball bounce yesterday was farcical. Swiftly followed up by falling over and handballing it looking for a cheap foul as we were building some pressure. Was equally bad at Brum.

He played pretty well yesterday and first half was best midfield or attacking player.
Problem was front 4 not midfield.
Don't expect him to be regular starter but should judge on performance not jumping on bandwagon.

It’s so easy to scapegoat the same players
Chaplin was poor when he came on, as was McAteer, don’t see comment on that.
Hirst was probably the player to criticise yesterday. But it wasn’t all about his form/belief, he was isolated in the system.
All the players and the manager need to given time and backing.

No Point moaning at Taylor, he tries his best, always looks busy, but looking back I can never pinpoint what he has actually achieved.
Worthwhile moaning at the club who knew they were going to lose Cajuste, Luongo and Phillips; and Morsy was likely to be going given the rumours. Have had plenty of time to get replacements. Have to be thankful for Azor and Cajuste otherwise we would be in trouble. | | | |

Both asked to lowly roles they’ve never played before in their entire careers.
Clarke inverted, coached for that for a year, and now it seems finally the manger accepts it doesn’t work.
Taylor as CDM in a double pivot, he’s a great player, but has never had those qualities, he needs to face the other goal! Drive forward and get up the pitch…, not get it facing his own goal.
McKenna getting in his own way, and trying to give himself and players a challenge, where simple and basic, and focussing on their strengths would have yielded better results…, but with maybe less satisfaction for KM.
There’s been a vacuum above him for too long…, because he kept making the same judgement calls and errors over and over again, a stubborn streak, and clearly nobody above him has his ear and respect on football matters.
Jack Clarke can’t invert - he loses the ball, and like taking on players wide - team of the year doing just that.
Jack Taylor is an 8 not a 6.
And Leif can’t invert either.., he needs to be wide, where he’s brilliant.
None of that is any of the players fault…, they do as they are told, and you can see them losing some faith and some belief.
It’s a simple game. McKenna wants to prove it’s chess and he’s a grand master…, he just needed to do what he did with the legacy group…, let them do better what they do best. And facilitate their strengths.
If he’d taken away from Morsys core strengths, we’d still be in league one!!
But then was a leader, a man, and experienced, he’d have told McKenna straight!
It will get worse before it gets better, if we win every game now, the bigger issues are going nowhere.
