Saw that earlier, and he was a bit of a pratt in other places in that conversation. I thought some of the sponsors underneath his face may not be happy either.

He’s doing it to curry favour with the budgie fans and to say what they are all thinking.
He was essentially inciting violence on and off the pitch which is disgusting. The BBC and his sponsors should distance themselves from him. It’s football, get over it!

Yes, he seemed to be making thinly veiled suggestions that budgie players should "do what they needed to do", if I am remembering the phraseology correctly?
As a second-rate podcast host/guest (albeit many leagues lower than our excellent, well-informed, respectful, adult Blue Monday podcast - sorry to even mention the two in the same post, frankly) I though that was pretty low, but if he's a BBC rep as well, that's not really acceptable.
