VAR is crap and ruins the game. We can still win this.

Truly impaired.

Ok I won’t complain about VAR until next season when we are back in the PL

Poll: Compared to the 23/24 squad how would you rate the current squad (without Omari)

I initially thought it was just a collision, but he extends his boot. Very dirty.

Talksport2 comms saying Hirst yellow for simulation.
Also that Davis was last man and should have been red for DOGSO.
I’m looking forward to the highlights!

While that was the worst reffing all season (I'm calling it now), please do watch the PL highlights from yesterday to 'appreciate' VAR.

It is the worst thing about the modern game

VAR is dreadful and can get in the bin.

Five and a half minutes to make a decision yesterday.

As for Hirst yesterday, how about just having competent officials.

VAR probably still wouldn’t have given it to us. VAR only seems to help the big clubs.

It’s still dreadful - Fulham got screwed by it yesterday. Stopping the game for 5 mins while someone watches 8 angles of whether someone got their toe trodden on is not what football should be.

Indeed - our centre back pairing alone cost more than Derby’s entire team.

It was a pen.

But VAR takes the jeopardy out of football, the swings and roundabouts, the luck balances out element.

It's horrible, up there with 1992

One incident I haven’t seen again is when Matt Clarke slid in to block a cut back from McAteer in the 1st half. It looked to me that it hit his trailing arm and might have been something the clown show in the VAR studio would have had a look at.
