Interesting for Hutchinson 15:42 - Aug 31 with 2422 views | unstableblue | Hutchinson on bench again. Forest fans see him as the backup to Ndoye only. West Ham are sitting deep and defending well, Nuno needs to open them up. But interesting that he brings on the excellent McAtee for NDoye, on the right. I actually think McAtee is a better player than Omari. Seems like our former fan is quite down the pecking order. Surely he’s an option for Hudson-Odoi on the right who’s having a poor game. Gibbs-White is obviously their main man and number 10. Be interesting to see if he gets 5mins. Obviously if he gets 5mins. West Ham don’t deserve the lead. But when you have Bowen! Despite West Ham sitting deep none of the dark arts of Derby.

Interesting for Hutchinson on 15:54 - Aug 31 with 2199 views | gtsb1966 | I honestly think that the Euro tournament in the summer did us a big favour. We got that transfer fee because he played well. Problem is that the Premier league is much harder. Just my opinion and not because of his refusal to play but I think he'll struggle to establish himself in any Premier league side. Great championship player but Premier league....only time will tell.

West Ham have sat deep, been very robust on crosses, change of shape from Potter apparently. But Forest were on top; and the Hammers fans singing “how sh!t you must be we’re winning away” But Somerville and Wilson gave them some bite on the break. Shocking refereeing for the second West Ham goal, has to give the foul for forest in the build up, has to. As you say Forest then fall apart. And omari enters at a horrible time for a pointless cameo.

Do you think his best chance may be on right Also Forest have a lot of games this season.

Interesting for Hutchinson on 16:03 - Aug 31 with 2022 views | SitfcB | Nuno didn’t want him. Part of the reason he’s fallen out with Edu I think, not just Omari but other signings as well. Kia Joorabchian (Omari’s agent and wrong’un) is working alongside Edu at Forest. [Post edited 31 Aug 19:34]

I don’t know Forest team well enough but felt he was at his best for us there, never quite convinced centrally - but maybe in a different team. He didn’t disgrace himself in the left in the U21’s either. As you say volume of games maybe his friend.

I expect Nuno to be out of there by tomorrow. In a way, I bet the owner is delighted with today's result.

9th as it stands, in Europe, and the owner wants him out. Doesn't make sense at all. I wonder how the Forest fans see it
Interesting for Hutchinson on 17:09 - Aug 31 with 1433 views | OldFart71 | I said this before Omari left that many a bright young English player has been drawn to the Premier League or a bigger club and then faded into obscurity. I bear no grudges for him going although the manner in which he left was a bit sad given that we gave him his chance. He did look a bit like a one trick pony in the Premier League where life wasn't so easy as when in the Championship. I note Delap limped off for Chelsea as well. Out for 6 weeks apparently.

It's a fair assessment. As much as I love Omari, I didn't think he pushed on as much as I hoped he would have done last year. Too often, his head dropped when he lost the ball. I thought (maybe selfishly) a year in the Championship would have done him and his confidence the world of good. Then all of a sudden he shone at the Euro U21S and boom he was off. The talent is clearly there, but he needs the right environment to keep on growing and developing. Maybe being at Forrest with better players will help him. Time will tell. He was probably too good for the Championship but not quite good enough to be a starter at the PL level. However, you have to back yourself to make the step up, so i can't argue about him wanting to make the move

Interesting for Hutchinson on 18:58 - Aug 31 with 828 views | darkhorse28 | Clutching. Straws. At. He’s literally just joined. And they’re in Europe, doubt he’ll be defined as anything for them at the minute. Will get lots of opportunities, and I’m sure he’ll do well. Maybe obsess more about us, why he didn’t want to stay, like so many others, and how we spent £200 million to become worse than our £10 million side. That might be more productive than worrying about out a side who spent the same as us in promotion…, but are in Europe; and signing our best players!
Interesting for Hutchinson on 19:16 - Aug 31 with 714 views | LegendofthePhoenix | I really wanted us to keep Omari, and was gutted to see the way it all ended. But I have to hand it to KMcK and Ashton. Having lost Omari, the player they've brought in as a replacement looks an even better prospect. Omari has amazing skill, but lacks the physicality and it was very evident in the Prem, how many time he just got bullied off the ball. Egeli is a much bigger physical specimen, and looks like he has similar skill levels to Omari, but will just be able to stay on his feet more. A superb piece of business, can't wait to see this young man develop under McKenna.

Faded into obscurity? What are you talking about? A Premier League club paid nearly £40m for him just two weeks ago...

Also we know KmcK doesnt throw players into the first team straight away. Why should Omari be different at forest? Although I agree he is likely a backup this year for them, and maybe seen as a starter next year: almost like his first year with us.
