Yeah I assumed we would have sold a fair chunk, must be an extra block! Nice, I have struggled as only on 18 points! So i'll jump on this one and worry about getting there after. | | | |

Evidence would suggest the opposite is true - all the bandwagoners who started going that season when the points system was announced have now decided they can’t be arsed as they’re only now interested in going to closer ones. |  |

I’m taking it as an opportunity to go to an away game but it is a pain to get there! I was expecting more of those that can’t access away tickets usually to take it up but perhaps our form hasn’t ignited the less tenured supporters. | |

Originally it was the first two blocks that went on sale and then the other two were added later one near to 5+ points/general sale. | |

Its not surprising people were more interested in going to Man Utd/Man City/Liverpool etc last season despite the travel. New grounds some have probably never been to.
Each block is roughly 1k seats? so we've sold out the 3k we'd have got in the PL.
Blackburn I would assume isn't a desirable place to go, 5 hours trip, people already been.
That's why last season, I didn't mind those people who went to games previously getting most if not all the allocations.

The away stand capacity is 7500, so it was never going to sell out.
At the moment, we have sold all the lower tier apart from the far left block as you look at the stand, so still 3.5 - 4 thousand at a guess. |  |

Compared to Preston, per-Window Sales are lower in all Windows aside from 30+ (which is almost identical).
Looks like only the lower tier will go on sale as it seems highly unlikely we'll get close to selling out the last lower tier Block (S01).
Apparently Birmingham sold their maximum allocation of lower and upper tiers (over 7000 tickets) to their fixture at Ewood a couple of weeks ago! |  | | |

For some, it's more than 5 hours (took me 7.5 to drive to Preston!) and impossible to get there and back in a day on the train. And right after Preston away which was a similar distamce.

Birmingham to Blackburn is a much shorter journey and considerably easier to get there and back than Suffolk to Blackburn. | | | |

I'm still missing Blackburn from the 20 grounds I still haven't visited since 1996. Last time I went that way it took 8 hours to get home from Fleetwood so it's definitely the travel for me
And it's 5 hours on an extremely good day, it's taken 6 to get to Manchester the last few times I've gone on a Saturday. [Post edited 3 Sep 16:31]
