Oh Mandy! on 15:01 - Sep 10 by OldFart71 | Kier's crazy gang are doing really well aren't they ? A hosing minister resigns due to not paying the correct stamp duty, a homeless minister who's on a charge for making people homeless, a corruption minister who's on corruption charges and a UK minister who is pals with Epstein and was put into the job by Starmer whilst Epstein was himself under investigation and went to Epstein's home when he was in prison. Isn't it time that whatever government is in power that they started to look after the very people that put them in power instead of having their own agenda and that individuals instead of being more interested in what they can get out of it themselves either whilst in power or when they finish put the country first. We can blame whoever we want for the current situation. We can deny that Farage is the right man to lead us in future but my question would be "If not Farage" then who. Because we have had the Tories, we now have Labour and neither have come up with answers or improved the lot for working class people and we stumble from one crisis to another. It is probably due to one of two things A) That those in government aren't good enough to do their jobs or B) That they have no interest in what the public want or need. |
"Isn't it time that whatever government is in power that they started to look after the very people that put them in power instead of having their own agenda and that individuals instead of being more interested in what they can get out of it themselves either whilst in power or when they finish put the country first." You've just answered your own question around why not farage. You're talking about him as if he hasn't been a career politician for over 25 years. He's done all the above things that you say you don't want: has his own agenda, only interested in what he can get out of it himself (highest earning MP off the back of his 'public service' roles); most definitely doesn't put the people or the country first (as proven many times by not representing his constituents and not doing the job he's been elected to). And the small matter of his role of making the UK considerably poorer that it would have been had he not meddled - to the point that all of budget black holes wouldn't exist if people hadn't pandered to him over Brexit. We've tried Farage and it's been a disaster.

Oh Mandy! on 14:34 - Sep 10 by Pendejo | If you want to keep a lid on something that could have spectacular consequences you'd send someone with vested interests - that's my take He knows the dirt & where it's buried? and was nicknamed "The Prince of Darkness" a long time ago... Hmm? [Post edited 10 Sep 14:35]

Mandelson once sued a tabloid which had described him as "Labour's evil genius" on the grounds that he wasn't a genius.

Oh Mandy! on 10:51 - Sep 10 by blueasfook | Some disturbing things in that birthday book wrote by Mandelson. KS needs to get rid of him pronto. Rayner had to resign for not paying a bit of tax. This guy hung out with a convicted paedo and sex trafficker. |
Presumably he wasn't interested in the girls, as that's not exactly his thing. It makes you wonder about the depth of his relationship with Epstein though - those messages were seriously obsessive and creepy. And apparently there's a lot more embarrassing detail yet to come out. Fk knows what was going on, but it's looks and sounds very uck

Mandelson was also forced to resign as Trade & Industry Secretary after it was revealed that Labour patrician Geoffrey Robinson had lent him £373,000, interest free, to help him buy a better house. He also obfuscated endlessly about this issue. He also has spent time on rich men's super-yachts. Maybe he is beyond moral reproach & would never let generous hospitality influence him. But he's shown himself to be a deeply flawed character on multiple occasions & while me might be very bright, it's terrible judgement by Starmer to make such a man ambassador to the US & even worse judgement to keep backing him in the face of more lurid tales to come.

Fun fact - my wife was working on the super yacht at the time of all these dodgy meetings between Osborne, Mandelson, Rothschild and Deripaska

As a stewardess with no interest in politics, you may as well just watch Below Deck if you want to see what it was like in the main!

it gets worse - Mandleson continued to support his "best pal" actively after Epstein's conviction on under age sex charges, urging him to fight for early release.

| And so as the loose-bowelled pigeon of time swoops low over the unsuspecting tourist of destiny, and the flatulent skunk of fate wanders into the air-conditioning system of eternity, I notice it's the end of the show |

If you need to know who Farage represents, you know the MP of Clacton-on-Sea in Essex. When in front of the US hearings and world press, did he have an Essex Flag pin, an English Flag, or a Union Jack. Correct none of the above. He had a GB News pin.
