Yes it sounds set up for a banana skin. But we have to make sure its not. For Players , the will to win , and the manager has to find a way to win, he has lost this never say die attitude in his teams and we simply have to get the desire back tonight and put a bit of fire in our belly's. To lose this or even draw would be a very hard knock indeed

Sheffield United are in a false position, and no-one should be looking at the league table until 10 games in anyway.

I also disagree any will/desire has been lost. A much changed team is the reason for our slow start, not any lack of desire.

And we've shown the never-say-die attitude in the fact that we've scored two very late equalisers.

I agree we've been struggling to find form and need a win though!

I think this game has been sold ( a bit too much) as the start of our season. I didn't realise till yesterday that Sheffield Utd were bottom with 0 points ( because I'm just only really interested in Town), but they're still a good side who nearly got that second auto spot.

Head says it will be a draw as I can't see Sheff U keep on losing, but heart says we've got to win a game at some point. Just want to see us look more dangerous. Maybe it's too early for Ivan or Egeli, but I'm thinking Akpom might be the one tonight.
I'm actually looking forward to this one. Think there's a bit of tension attached to this game which just adds to it.

Having seen some of their games have to agree. They have only lost by the odd goal in most and have created. Loads of chances have just been wasteful. They are a decent team and I'm not sure we will win this one. They won't be near the bottom by the end of the season

I hate games like this when there’s such an incentive for Sod’s Law to show up. It’s a bit like ex-players always seeming to score against us. There’s no sense to feeling like that and it’s probably not borne out in the stats, but still.

A win to get that monkey off our back would be big imo

I agree with the win sentiment and we need to get it done, same as last year, longer it goes on - the more damage it does.

That said, I'm not sure I agree how much we are playing catch up already - I don't think Middlesborough and Stoke will keep it up, West Brom will probably be towards the end of the POs as usual. Six behind Leicester, but they've looked worse than us(but picked up the points) and only two behind Soton.
