Deserved cheer and excellent to see that it took the Sheffield United player twenty seconds or more to collect that ball (or be supplied with another one) not that we needed to fritter away time but could be useful in a tighter game where we only have a single goal advantage. Think he should keep his place in the seat on the front row of the Britannia (?) for the next home game, first name in the attendees list for me...

Cobbold.
Szmodics gave him a ball to take home at FT.
Quality. Reminds of the first season the North stand was made all seater. I was sat a few rows back on an aisle seat when a ball ran off the pitch, bounced over the front wall and as it landed I stood up and caught it perfect, booting it high into the air.
Got a big cheer but pre social media so no fame or ball given, just the sense of achievement (whilst knowing it was downhill from there)

His name is Doodle.
If you played football in Ipswich from the 90’s onwards you know him.
Great character
And having been at a game a couple of weeks ago where the ball flew off the pitch and it looked like it was heading (sic) straight towards me, I ducked. As it happened the ball hit the top of the stand but I wouldn't have fancied trying my luck. Doodle displayed guts and skill.
