Seen quite a bit on social media from fans losing their minds and all common sense on this, but had to share this cracker as it's on another level entirely:-

As an ex player he new what was happening and Ipswich acted on this. Only Ipswich players were throwing them selves all over, didn’t see any Rovers players acting like this." |  |

If they didn't see any Rovers players falling over, they weren't watching. Were going down like ninepins all game.
Besides which, falling over wasn't the issue, but the fact the ball wouldn't roll through the standing water.

Sammy was partially involved but it was instigated by Lewis Travis. Lewis is was worried that Blackburn might finish above Derby and arranged for a mate of his speed up the Darwin towing a large inflatable banana with a few fringe Derby players on it to create a huge wave during half time.
Just as it passed close by, Sammy had arranged for his mum (who also knows all about the Darwin because he had been telling her about it and how important it is) to move a couple of sand bags to allow a surge of water to flood in. |  | | |

My biggest issue with them is all the ‘it drains into the river and there’s nothing anyone can do about it’ bullshìt, and having the audacity to call other people clueless or thick. They’ve clearly believed whatever line the club has sold them but chuck a massive attenuation tank under one of the car parks during the closed season and they’d never find themselves in this position again.
