Karic was definitely not over £1m - http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/i/ipswich_town/931049.stm At the time I thought he was a reasonably cheap squad player whilst we were in the prem. Didn't ever expect big things from him The correct answer is Le Pen, but Priskin and Taylor were also terrible wastes of money, as were most of our 'big money' signings around that time like Lee Martin, and to a lesser extent David Norris

Wouldn't surprise me if he never played for us again to be honest. And what is his resale value? A third of that fee if we are lucky?

He is 27 / 28 I reckon, so that is the end of him, with us. Big hit.
Pound for pound, Town’s worst value signing? on 14:10 - Sep 29 with 2889 views | ArnoldMoorhen | I just saw Lee Martin walking down the road, wearing a big coat with the collar up, a flat cap on his head and one of those plastic Groucho Marx glasses/nose/moustache disguise sets, desperately hoping nobody recognises him and mentions him in this thread.

I think we were completely scammed over Paz. WE were told we were getting a goalscorer, but I think he'd scored very few goals in his career & didn't even play up front. We got Taricco at the same time on a sort of BOGOF deal with the Argentinian agent (they played for different clubs) & the fact that Taricco eventually turned out to be more than useful doesn't give the useless Paz any sort of free pass IMHO.
