Managed to hear Alan Brazil praising Trump, deriding 5Live for criticising Trump and then the other day dismissing Neville for questioning the motives of people tying flags to high street lampposts.
What an obnoxious moron he is.

This was the Diaspora Minister's response to the statement from the Board of Deputies.
“The Board of Deputies has, regrettably, become first and foremost a political organisation - openly aligned with left-wing, woke, pro-Palestinian parties.
Just hours after Jews were murdered in Manchester, instead of demanding protection or holding the government accountable, the Board rushed for a photo-op with the Prime Minister.
Once proudly Zionist, now politically adrift. If only they showed the same energy attacking Britain’s recognition of a Palestinian terror state as they do attacking me and Tommy Robinson.”
And here is our Tommy's response.
He mentions "weak and pathetic woke liberals" Talking of weak and pathetic...

He is entitled to his views - but as his platform is a national radio station, he should make sure that his opinions are not presented as facts and that he doesn’t peddle false information.
And that goes for all presenters.
Less of a radio station these days and more a glorified gambling advert isn't it?

It’s an awful station. I’m not interested in gambling and not interested in their shock jock approach, so give it a miss whenever possible.
To be fair to Alan Brazil, he is very good at what he does. And the programme on after featuring Jim White and the ex-Crystal Palace owner is well worth a listen because it discusses all sorts of things football-related in a very intelligent way especially given the ex-owner insight.

No idea, you brought the subject up. (n/t) on 17:41 - Oct 9 by Bloots
You queried if calling Gary Neville obnoxious was grounds for Rupert’s opinion on him changing. I added some extra context which you may not have been aware of to help with your evaluation.

....Gary Neville obnoxious because of his driving ban.
I'm not sure what Rupert has said, so you'll have to bear with me on that.

I’m not a fan of Jim White either lol. I do recognise that Simon Jordan offers some interesting insights though, even if he’s a tad abrupt. I can’t think of many former owners who are doing anything similar, so credit to him.

....after I asked him if he could remind us a bit more often what floor of the News Building they were broadcasting from.
(it's the 17th by the way)

Well yeah there is that but he has got some lovely Union Jack branding going on so he's probably lovely really.

I'm don't believe it is an entirely unrelated problem. Scratch the surface of the Unite the Kingdom "movement", and there are antisemitic undertones all over it. These flags going up everywhere are not patriotism, they are marking territory like a dog peeing up a lamppost, letting certain people know they're not welcome. In the wake of what was a racially motivated murder, it's entirely appropriate to remove them.
I've already stated that there is a sinister tone to the flags being put up. It's not about thwe love of one's country but the hatred of minority communities. But we are talking about GN and his reasoning behind taking the flag down, which he linked to the Islamic terror attack at the Manchester Synagogue.
As I said, if he really wanted to make a stand regarding flags, then he would have been better served going into Manchester city centre just a few hours after and a few miles away from where the attack took place and removed the Palestinian flags being waved by people shouting "Globalise the intifada" whilst those poor souls bodies were still warm. But he's a chancer who sold his soul to the Qataris and went for an easy few thousand likes on social media. We know his principles are easily bought.
Re Tommy Robinson and the anti semitic undertones in his group of knuckle draggers, I made this very point to a pro Bibi Jew on another platform. The Far right in Israel are sucking up to TR because of his anti Islam views and going with the old saying that "my enemy's enemy is my friend". But as I pointed out to him, had Robinson been around in the 1940's he'd have been loading people into the ovens and no self respecting Jew should have anything to do with the racist tw*t. If he had lived in England in the 1930's we know whose side he'd have been on at the battle of Cable Street.
But that is an entirely different conversation. Neville was wrong to conflate the Union flags being displayed across the country with the islamic murder of Jews last week. Not only wrong but it trivialised their murder and the open antisemitism that is out of control since the October 7th attacks.

wow. putting up flags is not entirely unrelated to islamist terrorism, anti-semitic murder, and allegiance to isis? what a strange world you inhabit.
I don't believe Blueschev was deliberately trying to do that. Like you, he's been very strong on calling out antisemitism on here whilst others have tried to excuse it.

Good old Tommy. Trying to divide people as being good Jews and bad Jews.

Regarding Tommy Robinson, it's not just what he would have been like then, it's what he's like now, although he tries to hide it.
"British Jews know exactly who Robinson is. The English Defence League, which he co-founded, dragged swastikas and racist chants onto Britain’s streets—widely documented by UK media and watchdogs. In 2022, in a now-deleted article on Urban Scoop titled ‘Tommy’s Statement: The Jewish Question’, he indulged in conspiratorial antisemitism: “There are powerful Jewish people, claiming to be Zionists, who have their fingers on buttons of power in the entertainment industry, in big tech, in mainstream media, in the music industry, in Hollywood and in governments.” Hope Not Hate and others have catalogued his repeated use of such rhetoric.
Of course his incitement of hatred goes well beyond his now conveniently muted antisemitism."
Indeed, his reference in the clip I posted above to elitist Jews supporting open borders fits in with such traditional antisemitic tropes, as does his condemnation of George Soros as an enemy of the west.
