SYL in court again 17:22 - Oct 14 with 1146 viewsElderGrizzly

And the verdict/sentencing in his case has been delayed by the judge as SYL is due to visit Israel as a guest of the Israeli Government.

"A suggested date of next Tuesday for the verdict was changed by the district judge, Sam Goozee, after Williamson (SYL's lawyer) said Robinson was due to be a guest of the Israeli government from Wednesday and would not return until 25 October.

“I wouldn’t trouble you if this was a trip to Benidorm. I would ask him to rearrange it but he is a guest of a foreign government,” said Williamson.

This is the two-tier justice he squeals about isn't it? :)

I note Musk is funding his defence, presumably so he can't rip off the sheep who dontated to him last time only for him to plead guilty any way

Alcohol is the answer but I can't remember the question!

Why on earth would a man with an Irish passport who claims to live in Spain be a guest of the Israeli government?

To be fair on Yaxley-Lennon, it really isn't two-tier justice as long as there are guarantees he will return and face justice (didn't he live abroad to avoid it previously?)

The bigger question is why Netanyahu would invite him.

Soft power for Netanyahu presumably given they’re both staunch right wing islamophobes. He would have noticed the embarrassingly large number of numpties that turned out for that march and presumably thinks SYL could be an even more useful pawn in spreading the fascist message if he had some extra funding and networks behind him. I’m guessing.

Poll: Do you think Pert is key to all of this?

I am quite sure there is mutual fawning and that would probably have been instigated through communication from Yaxley-Lennon. It should be concerning that he is in favour with a perpetrator of genocide but his supporters likely have no issue with that.

I suspect a large number off his followers are deeply antisemitic but figure that Bibi has been killing large numbers of brown people or a largely muslim persuasion so therefore he's 'one of the good ones'.

As long as he doesn’t run in to any of those elitist Jews that are engineering mass immigration in order to destabilise the west he’ll be fine.

Quite a few will, hence the antisemitic dog whistle he posted the other day.

Listening to Trump lauding his daughter's conversion to Judaism made me wonder how that would play with his Bible belt followers but then I realised that most of them look at Israel as the true church and that all Jews will come to Christ in the final days so probably have no issue with it.

Yaxley-Lennon's fear/hatred of Islam outweighs that of Judaism I am certain.

They believe some Jews will come to Christ, the majority who reject him will be massacred. It’s a disgustingly antisemitic, apocalyptic ideology.

It's certainly a strange ally to have, given Robinson's connections to the far-right

Massive double standards surely

Hopefully it's a ruse so the Israeli nazi hunters can get their hands on one of the new breed.
A show trial awaits...(if only)

"It's certainly a strange ally to have"

But one that pays well, allegedly.
