0-0 tonight after some good home results 07:01 - Oct 17 with 1265 viewsRIPbobby

Anybody think it will be 0-0 after 3 nice results at home? Boro score hardly any and we keep it really tight away from home. Friday matches are notoriously cagey affairs and this one could follow in this vain. Hopefully not, but as we all know we like to be ultra tight on the road for the first hour. Cue 1st minute winner. We will see I guess.

We’ve scored 13 goals in the last 5 games

Something will change tonight

Either a scrappy win or an entertaining Desmond I reckon

Do we keep it tight for the first 60 minutes away from home? We played on the front foot from the off against Brizzle, same against Preston and Blackburn. We've been struggling to create enough chances but I don't think we're exactly parking the bus when we go on the road.

I think most would agree, away from home we've been far from convincing so far this season.

You don't want to accept a draw, with the aim of sport being to win. That said, if we don't play well (and follow our current away trend) then a draw would be an ok point.

But to follow up the Norwich win, with a win tonight, would be a really big statement.

I hope you are right matey. Our biggest win was after international break and next to no time to prepare on a Friday night.

It will really set us up well for the rest of the season

I'll take a 1-1 from tonight. Just so long as we don't lose.

1 clean sheet in 9 games so far.

We will concede at least 1 goal so need to score at least 2 to win

1-1 for me which is a decent result

Would be nice to score some goals from open play away from home - the last one we scored was at a now defunct ground! That's not a moan, it's a step towards being an automatic promotion contender for the new group.

On the other hand, we have only once conceded more than a single goal this season. So it shouldn't require more than two to secure the points.

Good Lord! Whatever is it?

Need that away win quickly or last seasons poor home form gremlins may kick in,
Like you say win tonight two home games we could be top two come after next weekend, a lot hinges on tonight,
Win were back,
Draw not a bad result though personally Boro will not be top two and for me 4th to 8 th,
Lose and it will be a troll to new year and catching Boro will take a few months,
Leave nothing in the tanks tonight,
Boro need to turn there fortunes around and we need a result,
2-0 town,

Can't see a clean sheet for us, defence still learning to play together as a unit and Boro are too good at home not to score at least one.

I'm going for 2-2.

We won't run away with it but it's an away win. Would love a clean sheet.

I'd like us to win, obviously. But a draw would be a good result, given they are going well at the minute. But a win would be massive.
