100% this. It’s fine to rely on a player of course, but that’s been as good as it gets this season so far. In terms of the whole team, we’ve laboured on the ball and been unconvincing defensively (bailed out by individual quality again).
I don’t know what the answer is. Is it just time (yet other teams have the same timescale). Is KM and the coaching team unable to get the best out of the players? Are the players not good enough?
I think it’s the coaching. That attack just them from ‘Boro had us doing all the wrong things and giving them the freedom of the pitch, but I don’t know. |  |

If I wasn’t wearing blue goggles and KM didn’t have so much credit in the bank I think I’d be questioning KM right now. A bit early in the sarson after all the changes, but if we’re off the pace and still like this at Christmas Ashton will have a tough decision to make. | |
