Southampton, Leicester losing 21:29 - Oct 21 with 850 viewsbaxterbasics

We aren't the only relegated team having a few bumps.

Plus Nodge who are in the bottom three.

Things could be worse.

Have a good moan, that's understandable after this shocking half.

But "McKenna Out" is div-tastic. We are nowhere near asking that question.

Any McKenna Out talk is daft at this stage of course, he has earned the right to try to sort this out. If we're still 13th come the end of the year though, you can be sure the owners will be thinking about it.

Yep. If we turn up from Christmas onwards we'll be fine.

That date for "turning up" is being pushed back though. First it was our squad isn't complete, then the new players need to settle. Truth is, we haven't been anywhere near good enough in virtually every game this season. I'm not saying McKenna needs to go, but things need to improve, and soon for me. We are nearly a quarter of the way though the season with not nearly enough quality being shown yet.

Last season’s table didn’t lie. The 3 teams were awful

I don't really care what Saints and Leicester are doing. We played a League 1 side tonight and managed to gift them the easiest 3 points they'll have all season. O'Shea and Greaves cost us £30m plus and they look like pub players. Cajuste and Nunez crumbled under a bit of pressing. Absolutely embarrassing performance. After the damp squib of Friday night we needed a good result to push on and we've not turned up. The complete lack of character in our team is a big concern.

The fact none of the 3 relegated sides are taking the Championship by storm really just serves to highlight how woeful all 3 of them really were last season! However much we want to pretend, we are looking way short of being a promotion favourite. It’s not just tonight, we’ve not looked convincing all season and that’s the reality.

lol, isn’t it just. ‘If we win our game in hand we’ll be in the play offs’. Well we’ve just had that game over a few teams, and we’re very much mid-table and look nowhere near a promotion candidate side. Yes, of course it could come and I wouldn’t write KM off after his first two seasons with us. We’re entering a belief and faith phase for us fans now, as there’s no evidence we’ll be challenging come the end of the season. So, do we trust and feel lucky?

Saint and Leicester are financial basket cases who didn't spend much during the summer unlike us. We spent the most by far and yet still can't blo*dy perform. Pathetic.

For me, everything is too predictable and slow. It’s like watching an elderly walking football session with Philogene being outpaced by Darren Curie - but it’s just not him we’re just not dynamic enough.

I think in the last two games Cajuste has slowed our game down considerably. Matusiwa and Nunez to start on Saturday.

Nunez gives the ball away in dangerous areas far too often, imo.

That’s ok then.

Let’s not worry about the last 45 games, worst season in our history, mid table championship and £200 million spent and a manager paid almost as much as Slot!!

Tell me more about this Southampton you speak of!!!!

Sake. I ale up and smell the coffee!!!

Start putting OUR club before your ego and need to be right about McKenna!!!!

You’re not a supporter. You don’t give a toss about our club.

Too busy trying to justify McKenna is world class!!! .., for no other reason than you’re a bad judge if he’s not.

NEWS FLASH - he can’t even see half decent EFL manager status from where he’s been standing the last 18 months!!!!!

Your ego is out of control…, go with McKenna to wherever he ends up next WBA with Ashton is my guess!!!

They’re welcome to all three of you.

Whereas Cajuste seems to have this unique talent of making an amazing tackle, then skilfully spin his man, which ends up with him falling on his arse and giving the ball back to the bloke he’s just tackled.

Happens every game.

Nunez looks like the sort of player who needs a run of games. No way Cajuste plays three games in 8 days. And if the answer is Taylor then we are in a worse state than I thought.
