| KMc 2.0 14:33 - Oct 22 with 1408 views | itfcsuth | Walton Furlong - O’Shea - Greaves - Davis Matusiwa - Taylor McAteer - Szmodics - Jaden Hirst Has a blend of a bit of the old guard, and has a blend of integrating some of the newer talents. Football is not about putting the 11 best individuals and waiting for the pieces to fit, it’s about building a level of connection, consistency, unity and most importantly mentality. That side has it, that’s side to build KMc 2.0. | | | | |

I sustained period of O’Shea & Greaves, you would hope and have thought that consistency would help them develop - the current alternative pairing would be Kipre & Baggot, and no disrespect, but that is a drop off. Walle Egeli is a talented boy, but he shouldn’t be in a reliant role, he’s 19, he needs time to adjust and develop to the country/league, the exact same way Omari did. McAteer would need to be the first choice currently, and that would also help him develop.

I knew it would raise eyebrows, but I still firmly stand by that should be the foundation to build. Has the right level of balance for me.

Yup. Would be tempted to swap Azon for Akpom but this looks good. Taylor in for Nunez / Jens in tricky aways and Clarke, Egeli attacking bench options. Wish KM would give it a go as we are crying out for more solidity in midfield and our number 10 whoever it is consistently contributes sod all

Can’t see Szmodics RW. He operates central or in the half spaces wider, but not really a winger.

imo the midfield trio makes more sense than anything else you have the dm, a creative midfielder and another cm to roam, if were really are going through this learning stage and seeing us at match week 6 now, then why not give it a try, whats to lose?

I know what you mean regarding unsure on who to select - but we need to settle on one, and really try and build consistency. Given Egeli rawness, I’m not sure he is that answer yet - which really leaves you McAteer or Johnson.

Why can't Clarke play on the right? It's not a perfect solution and not his best position but he's miles better/more effective than Egeli or McAteer at the moment. We need to find a way to get Clarke and Philogene playing together for me, our two most effective and creative players. Criminal to have either sitting on the bench.

Yeah KM said although the seasons 10 games old he see's it more as 5 with how late the signings came in, international break etc.

| KMc 2.0 on 15:11 - Oct 22 with 882 views | Garv | Saturday: Walton Furlong O'Shea Greaves Davis Azor Nunez Clarke Akpom Philogene Azon That's only three changes from last night (excluding the enforced keeper change). While not wholly convinced by any of them, Akpom, Nunez and Azon all did enough to warrant a 'run' of two games to try and get into some form. Clarke probably needs to play at the moment as does Philogene begrudgingly. I don't hate your idea of Taylor getting starts though, he is something a bit different and has a bit of fight in him. | |

Kipre & Baggott until the transfer window, then get two proper centre halves in & bin the two failures.

Clarke has an eye for goal, can dribble and pass.

Taylor has an incredible engine and tenacity, not as technical as a Cajuste or Nunez, and I’m not suggesting he is, but for what I think we need in there at the moment in terms of balance, I think he could merit that opportunity. I’m not convinced Akpom is a 10 still, I’m sure he’s a number 9.

This is all going round in circles and avoiding the problem… lack of squad/team ethos, naive tactics and poor management.
| KMc 2.0 on 17:20 - Oct 22 with 474 views | Hciwspi | I’d want one of Harry Clarke or Wes Burns in the 11. Probably Burns with Clarke on the bench. When fit of course. | | | |

Whilst watching the game last night I was picking an 11 to start and based off what I have seen this season that 11 you have put would do for me right now maybe Young at right back but not a lot in it.

When fit and firing again, I’d have them both in as well. Don’t think they will be far away, but immediate future can’t include them. I’d also be recalling Chaplin on January 1st.

He hasn’t used any one side consistently, and I’m including Walton and Taylor with purpose and reason for it.
