| Your team for QPR then 09:39 - Oct 27 with 941 views | GlasgowBlue | I’d like to see Nunez continue in the 10 if Szmods and Akpom are injured. However, KM’s post match interview seemed to dismiss that idea so I’m going. Walton Young* O’Shea Kipre Davis Matusiwa Taylor Sindre Jaden (10) Clarke Azon * I don’t think Furlong offers much going forward and that leaves Sindre pretty isolated on the right. I expect KM to go with Furlong. | |

| Your team for QPR then on 09:44 - Oct 27 with 880 views | SheffordBlue | I think he'll stick with an either/or policy for Philogene and Clarke and retaining an impact option off the bench is worth it in my opinion. Overall I think a lot will depend on the injuries to Szmods and Akpom. If one or both are available then I think there'll be very limited change from Saturday with either Nunez or Cajuste likely to partner Matusiwa even if Taylor deserves to keep the shirt. | |

| Your team for QPR then on 10:06 - Oct 27 with 761 views | HighgateBlue | I would be interested to see either Nunez or Jaden at 10. I think that's the position which has been most consistently disappointing so far this season, exemplified by zero goals from SS and Akpom. Definitely continue to give Azon a run up front. Let's see if he can show us some clinical finishing to go with his other attributes. Don't especially mind which of our seventeen right backs starts, but the rest of the back five must stay the same, in my view. Kipre holds the shirt, and but for the blooper for the own goal, he's been very impressive in the games since Portsmouth. Greaves played against Charlton of course. Taylor may well have done enough for the fans against WBA, but I think KM has his favourites. I'm still slightly scratching my head about why the entirety of our Premier League midfield was unceremoniously binned off as plainly not good enough, but Cajuste was desperately longed for by the fans. He's showed some nice moments this season, but regularly enough? Maybe he should start alongside Matusiwa to try to build that relationship, but I can't associate myself with any Rolls Royce talk. Morsy had more points per goal in the Prem. Remember him? | | | |
| Your team for QPR then on 10:20 - Oct 27 with 711 views | cbower | Swap Clarke and Jaden around and have Clarke as the 10. Furlong does nothing going forward at all, you're right. Walle-Egeli gets no overlapping and often faces two alone. In the Championship at least, and I know nobody agrees, I think Harry Clarke is our best option at RB. That position is a compromise between defensive responsibility and forward threat. Furlong is a pure defender, Johnson provides a bit of both, Young is, in my opinion, a bench option. Clarke offers more than any of them for me. | |

We need to get Clarke and Philogene in the team for me. Playing on the right might not be either player's best position but they are both match winners, make things happen and can carry the ball up the pitch which is especially important away from home. I don't really understand this concept of leaving a bit on the bench for later on in games personally. We need to start fast, make our quality count, get an early goal and make games a little bit easier for ourselves.
| Your team for QPR then on 10:39 - Oct 27 with 627 views | Swansea_Blue | It’ll be interesting to see how QPR tackle this one. They’ve been good on the man-to-man press and stopping teams playing so far this season, which is the type of team we’ve struggled against. Or are they going to sit off us like Charlton and WBA I wonder. | |

I think a fit Harry Clarke would work really well with Sindre.

This thread is a very good debate. Very interesting difference of opinions and also some valid second guessing of what the manager will do.

Can understand wanting to get them both on the pitch but having game changing options on the bench makes sense to me. Sitting deep requires a lot of concentration and effort and having a game changer on the bench to come on fresh when the defence are tiring gives that player more of an opportunity to impact the game. Having tried to track Philogene or Clarke for 65/70 minutes to then face the other one coming on entirely fresh must be really difficult.

Unfortunately, I don't think Harry Clarke is good enough defensively. He was sometimes struggling in the Champ last time, particularly on speed and positioning. Tho agree, he is decent going forwards.

Philogene is someone that looks better when he starts. I don't think he's ever come on and really impacted a game. Clarke has obviously done well from the bench. You just want to give your best players the maximum number of minutes on the pitch to make an impact for me. I also think Egeli is better suited to a role off the bench at the moment. And McAteer is just crap.

I think the perception of poor positioning in the Championship was down to the way KM liked his central defenders to get forward which left a gap that Harry was expected to cover. [Post edited 27 Oct 12:50]

Don't underestimate us ("nobody agrees") - I have been hoping that soon we shall have the dream team of Burns and H.Clarke controlling the right wing.

He can link play much better than Akpom or SS, high shot volume like Chaplin and also has that bit of tenacity. Walton Furlong DOS Kipre Leif Azor Taylor SWE Nunez Clarke Hirst That is what I would do.

With possibly swapping Azon in for Hirst, this would be my preferred line up too. Will be extremely disappointed if Akpom or Greaves come back in.

Completely agree, this team but Azon for Hirst. However we know Greaves, Akpom and Hirst will all start
