| Scum new manager 11:29 - Nov 9 with 4284 views | leftback | Who are they gonna get?, seeing some of the names mentioned are surely unrealistic Robins, Rodgers and O’Neil (just turned down wolves talks) even someone like Carrick will have doubts as their in such a mess, seems Martin is probably best they could hope for, be interesting to see how it plays out but in such a bad situation anyone half decent will know if they can’t turn it around immediately they could quite easily have a relegation on their CV | | | | |

| Scum new manager on 15:58 - Nov 9 by franz_tyson | I really don't want it to be Carrick as he's Kieran's mate. O'Neil would probably be a good choice, but sounds like he's still got some credit in the bank where he'd get interest from lowly PL and top Championship clubs. Why would he be interested in a Championship relegation fight? Think I've read that they'll be paying off Thorup until 2027 and Manning until 2029. Costly old business. |
I would assume they'd be paying them off only until they get another job. Thorup you'd guess would get a job in Scandi quite quickly if he wants one. Manning though may want a complete break for a prolonged period and understandably so. Wouldn't mind at all seeing him back at ITFC in the 21s or academy if he decides he wants a less "intense" role to focus on family.

It would be one way to hang on to Sargeant to make him player-manager.

Player manager? His goal scoring streak ended some time ago so perhaps it's the only way to get him firing, and Josh to the WC

Presumably he would be in to the end of the season so Knapper could see which players and manager were ripping it up in the Luxembourg/Maltese/Lichtenstein leagues.
| Scum new manager on 09:37 - Nov 10 with 378 views | Bellevue_Blue | When I look at the betting market, I just can't see why any of them would go near that job when managerial reputations are so unbelievably fragile. Take Liam Manning for example, top 6 with BC last season, now he's probably looking at a low end Champ job, same with Russell Martin. - Gary O'Neill - Last managed in the PL, turned down Wolves last week, can almost certainly wait for a more stable Champ job - Brendan Rodgers - Will want a PL job - Russell Martin - He would be mad to jump straight back in. Back to back horror shows, needs time to build up that credit again - Carrick - Enough credit to wait for a better/ more stable Champ job - Corberan - Has enough credit in the bank to manage at the top of the division - Gerrard - Absolutely no chance he takes that risk The first realistic name is probably Will Still and even for him that would be a huge gamble | | | |
