It did take 5 years for him to 'actually' go though...must be record?

I think his time there was on a knife edge, not sure what has happened to the Swans of late but, like Norwich, something very off there.

Don't know why but I have a soft spot for them. The Swans, not the other lot.

Bit harsh if playing Ipswich was the final straw, that's a tough fixture for any manager in this league.

Trust the process. Trust Phil.

I really want them to get Martin, have a sense that it would end hilariously badly.

I did note that last year both Liverpool and Man Utd managers made their league debut against us at Portman Road.

I wonder what is the most number of managers we have faced in a league season is.

In the championship we face 23 teams, so the minimum is assumed at 23

Note while 23 is considered the minimum, there may be a situation that a manager may leave one club *after* we have played them twice to go to another champ club, so reducing that by one.

On a similar subject, anyone know where to see length of tenure for both Championship and all football league managers? KM has got to be pretty high up that list now.

So glad to have some stability.

Parkinson must be hoping his team don’t get trounced at Portman Road on 22nd.

So far this season we have won six league games and, within a very short time, three of the six managers have been sacked.

I'd imagine simply surviving in the Championship this season will be enough to secure Parkinson his job. Which it looks like he will do fairly comfortably.

More might be expected the next, however.

Is the maximum then 46? Assuming no managers get replaced at half time in a game?

Interesting that the manager of Chesterfield is the 12th longest serving manager, and the man who replaced him in his previous job is the 11th longest serving.

I know it's only a few weeks short of 4 years, when you see it written down that he has been here for just 3 years it seems staggering what McKenna has fitted in during his time here.

I hate to be all "glass half empty" about this, but if your wins come against teams in the bottom half, then it's much more likely that your wins will cause a sacking.

We've 6 wins against the current bottom half teams this season, and we're yet to beat a team currently in the top half.

I appreciate you can only (try to) beat what's put in front of you.
