| Does anyone know… on 15:55 - Nov 17 by SitfcB | …if local trains run in London on Boxing Day, namely from London Bridge to South Bermondsey, I know the tube does but not sure on the former. |
The Tube/Underground runs a Sunday Service on Boxing Day. Starts at 07:00am. No Elizabeth Line. [Post edited 19 Nov 15:48]

Probably only about 1000 in the bottom tier. Top blocks now being opened up to get to 3k.

Top tier was open anyway. We got ours in the middle of the top tier at 35+ yesterday.

The SS is safe seating in this instance.

....the front 8 rows are "safe standing" and the 9 rows behind are normal "seating". It's obvs just a health and safety requirement, but it obviously not workable if they were ever to actually stick to the rules.

Why do we think that the tickets arent selling as fast as other away days? Simply down to the travel challenges? | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Think there selling really well, no trains is a massive deterrent for London games

I was just suprised to see them (possibly) drop all the way down to 10 points and worried it wasnt a good place to visit with a child. The Jubilee line looks to be open so there are some options for getting closeby I think.

Near identical sales compared to Leicester in the 35+ and 30+ windows, but is much slower than Leicester was for 25+, 20+ and 15+ (more in line with the pre-Leicester sales). Plenty tickets remaining for 10+, with two blocks (21 and 26) yet to be released for sale. [Post edited 20 Nov 13:07]

| Millwall (A) Ticket info on 08:47 - Nov 18 by tractorshark | No trains from Ipswich and no Southern trains south of the river, I don’t think it will be quite as popular as you think once people start working out the logistics. Very difficult to park around there and the shopping centres that are close will be rammed. As someone who has had to drive into work in London on many a Boxing Day, I can assure you it’s not fun. It will sell out but I imagine it will still go to a lower bracket. |
Indeed, it's a game I would have gone to, but the lack of trains means it's easy to strike off the list. Plus the tubes often have a dispute over extra pay (despite Boxing Day working being part of their contract) so they don't run on Boxing Day.

Will be the first awayday we're missing this season - getting to Millwall for 1pm from Edinburgh was a bridge too far! Didn't fancy flying down.

In my experience Millwall away we always took about 60-75% of what we'd get for any other away game in London (e.g. seasons where we'd have 2000 at Charlton we'd only have 1500 at The Den). I think it's partly down to the travel issues, but I'm sure it's also down to reputation (which living in SE London I can say is a little unfair these days as even South Bermondsey has not been immune to a degree of gentrification over the past decade or so).

If there’s no tubes, the game will be off. Happened to Arsenal a year or two ago.

Arsenal had a game postponed a couple of years ago as there was no public transport, so I’d imagine it would be the same for all the London clubs.

Genuinely not trying to p*ss on your chips, but it was 2012, and the other London games at Fulham and QPR (both Premier League too) went ahead.

A Christmas miracle! The ticket, not the travel.
