And we had the Scottish Michael Owen (I didn't imagine that, did I?), and the Macedonian Steven Gerrard as well.

I actually think Cajuste is the opposite of Carlton Palmer who looked devoid of any talent but was effective enough to be considered worth playing international matches.

As usual, they didn't get out of the group stage. But a 0-0 against England meant they didn't "get battered in every game".

They've only been battered the once in the last two tournaments. A 5-1 defeat to Germany.
