Very poor. But a win for the blades hurts Norwich so all good. Harry Amass for Wednesday looks a good player.

“Blood and guts” for sure. Very little football, and not much that is good.

Lol yes, but what youre not seeing is layers feining injury and rolling around on the ground with " head injuries" at the slightest touch. Its good old fashioned blood n guts tackles going in. Its honest football tbh

Those cuddly Wednesday fans lobbing stuff onto the pitch, as per usual.

Surely this is the sort of thing that has to be dealt with at the time, rather than being kicked down the road for a post-match resolution?

It's not like they have track record for it is it...It's like they get really upset and offended when they are loosing. Done the same when we played them. And they wonder why they are not a popular fan base

I'll be disappointed if we don't put 6 past Wednesday again next month. They offer absolutely nothing.

That's the problem, to my mind.

I don't know if any retrospective punishment has previously been enforced (it stands to reason that we might not have heard about it, if it didn't directly impact ITFC), but it clearly doesn't work.

The issue needs immediate stoppages until the offending party is ejected (hardly impossible with the amount of CCTV at stadia these days), or even abandonment/forfeiture if the behaviour continues.

I'd hope for more. They were a better team and we were a worse team when we thumped them 6-0. We know it will be a nervy 1-0 win but I'd love nothing more than an absolute thumping

Wednesday at least have an excuse for being poor this season.

Some of their fans are still knobs though.

At least the scum can feel a little better in the knowledge that they are not the worst team in the division but give it time and they might be.

They are trying their hardest to be. Wesdnesday had a 12 point deduction so are actually only one point behind (I think?) if they didn't have that

I would imagine that a points deduction and hefty fine each time it happened would be strong motivation for the club to deal with it effectively. I would the same should be the case for use of those laser pens to put players off in matches too.

I can't see how the authorities can do anything else.

The officiating at Hillsborough in our L1 promotion season showed that such antics can work and, if the authorities just fine offending clubs, there's a risk that those in charge could view the potential gains as being worth the monetary cost.
