It's not necessarily his leadership. There's no one in the centre of the park to grab the game by the scruff of the neck and turn the tide.

If it's a deal we can do, it's just an absolute no brainer.
The worry is how much his time out of the game has affected him, but I wouldn't want to doubt him in that respect.
Matusiwa is great, but he's not Sam Morsy of 23/24 or even or 24/25. The guy was the best all round player, leader, whatever label you want to use, that I've watched in my 30 years watching Town. |  |

We do miss the player.
It’s no good harping on about players that have left from our promotion side.
Apart from Delap and Hutchinson nobody else seems to be making their respective teams starting 11.
Whilst Morsy was brilliant for us he looked slow in the last season he played and unless he has found a way to defeat time he won’t have got faster. | | | |

Utterly ridiculous isn't it. Only last season people were complaining how slow he was. He's 34 years old and hasn't played competitive footballfor a while. He would get absolutely murdered in this league now. If Morsy is the answer we might as well all pack up and go home. |  | | |
