| Lucky to have KM at the helm, let's get right behind him and the team today (n/t on 09:10 - Dec 6 with 450 views | Chrisd | True, but let’s not pretend he doesn’t deserve to be scrutinised after the last 18 months, it’s been woeful and he’ll have some say in the recruitment of players. However, I agree we need to get behind the team today, it’s going to be a really tough match against a Coventry side full of confidence and scoring goals for fun. Hopefully, it will be one of those games which kick starts us into gear. | |

He himself would say they haven't got everything right. Totally agree there should be scrutiny. But with perspective. I don't subscribe to the whole 'it's been rubbish for 18 months' thing. Let's hope it is a big moment in season.

I didn’t say rubbish, woeful is the word I used. Last season was so tepid, this year with all the money spent we look an average Championship side nothing more and how we are playing that’s on KM and his coaching staff.

| Absolutely - ‘Operation Confidence Bolster’ need to help the players on 09:58 - Dec 6 with 303 views | unstableblue | As McKenna said the players need to bring the game to the crowd… fire us up But player confidence is the problem, and people need to leave their concerns at the turnstile and avoid the grumbles and back the players, boost them, bolster the confidence for 90mins COYFB… should be a cracking game | |

| Lucky to have KM at the helm, let's get right behind him and the team today (n/t on 10:21 - Dec 6 with 266 views | Pinewoodblue | While you are absolutely right about today’s game you have to realise that for the majority of fans groans are an involuntary reaction when things don’t go right. We are top three for goals scored, also top three for fewest goals conceded. Yet this isn’t reflected in the league table. We should be doing better, the last two performances have below par and that is for the manager to sort out. If we don’t have the players to play the way the manager wants we adjust our approach. We are over defensive when facing corners, or free kicks into the box. We clear it and it comes straight back as every Town player is in the box. Walton is hesitant with his passing out as a result the opposition have time to react and this puts the receiver under pressure. Look back at last season, the longer it went on the more difficult it was to pick up points. This can not be repeated this season. We have what is needed to gain automatic promotion let’s not waste it. Three points today, and a more solid performance would be a good start. | |

Agree entirely, if we are going to turn this season into a positive vibe, in many ways it HAS to be today and it must be backed up in this month's fixtures. The alternative is in more or less starting over.

Every manager is one of the best by definition. We’ve paid him well, given him his big break, upped his contract twice. This isn’t luck and this sort of thing is exactly what we were talking about last night. He is also very lucky to have had that and the backing he has had. I notice we only get this sort of thing before games from the likes of you. When the results come in….

Pinewood Everybody defending in the box has been going on since Since Keane was here I used to say madness then no outlets then straight down your throat when it gets cleared.

I really take issue with people saying things like 'last season was so tepid'. The first half, plus a bit more, we were competing - coming up short most of the time, but competing - and given the steps up we had made it was not unexpected and at the same time exciting to see if we could stay with the likes of Wolves and West Ham. We played with a lot of spirit and bravery and took the game to a lot of big teams from day one against Liverpool onwards. Obviously it tailed off, and became clear we weren't gong to make it and the end was a bit of a downer, but I and many others really enjoyed a lot of that season. Tepid it wasn't. Unless, I suppose, all you are interested in is tabulated outcomes rather than enjoying the ride, which is a pretty negative way to be as far as I am concerned.

Come on Mullers. It's match day mate. A fan is trying to be positive. Whether you think it's misguided or not, at least wait until after the game before pulling the positivity apart.

If it was genuine positivity as opposed to this braying, superfan nonsense I’d agree, but he’s constantly coming out with upvote fishing nonsense of late. Not the only one, but the fact he’s one of a few who do this is worth calling out.

Charming. I'm just annoyed at how fickle so many are. We've watched KM build this club back up and conduct himself with class and we soon as we hit a challenging patch people start slagging him and the team off. i think we'll win today playing the KM way.

Depends how you look at it, based on results from January onwards it most certainly was tepid. You are entirely entitled to your opinion and to see things differently, like I am with mine. I thought it was too predictable in the end, the home form was dreadful and we were nowhere near making a good fight of staying up. Those 3 sides that got relegated were so far off what was needed to survive, this season none of us have pulled up any trees either.

That’s the problem, it’s always the fans at fault when he has had massive backing. The fact he’s is always faultless, always right when he produces dogsh1t or diamonds is why your opinion is worthless.

Not true I allude to we have been poor for 18 months whatever the reasoning. Also football is results driven and we have had poor results over this given time. The season we got promoted from the championship McKenna was in talks with Crystal Palace which felt wrong at the time. Was never offered the Chelsea or Manchester United jobs or he honestly would Not be here. Was probably offered the Brighton job , but then our Mr Big came over and gave McKenna a lovely big fat contract and to be honest he has done very little since. First two yrs of his tenure he did a marvellous job exceeding all expectations. Last 18 months Not so go after spending lots of money. Its down to McKenna if he can get his mojo back I'm not sure for me it will take consistent performances and a better way of playing than supporters have witnessed this season . Time will tell but for the site to get to this supporters have very mixed views.

Are they the only managers who would be available if we needed a new manager?
