another poor, passive, drab performance again. 20:35 - Dec 10 with 1862 viewsFromReuserWithLove

Maybe it's the plan for the first half?

It wasn’t great following the goal but that’s a tad harsh.

Sloppy, a bit pedestrian and wasteful sums it up better.

We’ll certainly need another goal to win this, though.

Yeh that's reasonable. I don't think I said it was the 'end of the world' but it certainly always feels we lack any intensity. Sloppy is prob right.

That’s football. I think people have become so addicted to short form highlights, they go around thinking things have to be like that all the time. It was scrappy, but that’s the way it is sometimes and I’ve seen a lot worse over the years. The first 20/25 mins or so were pretty end to end and entertaining. But there’s going to have to be some grind to get through this season.

Your description is almost word for word what is in my dictionary under Tvvattish, adj.

The OP really didn’t warrant the attacks that followed. People just live to have someone to bully on here but that’s Ok if it makes them feel better about themselves i’m happy. People still doubling down on calling me a tw4t because I dared ti suggest I thought the first half was crap. 😂

When Nunez backheeled it Egeli in our half, Egeli sprayed a wunder pass out to the left which ended with a Davis blast saved by the recovering keeper for the Spaniard to blast over was that drab?

That Egeli pass to Philogene reminded me of the Chaplin ball to Davis that set up a goal in the last Championship season. And the Nuñez backheel had echoes of Chambers doing the same in the build up to the cross for Jay Tabb's wonder header.

If Azon had finished it, it would have been the iconic goal of this season.

Well done. Hope you get some 'uppies' for that, certainly deserves it.

And he did! Nice one.

Bar the blast over the bar, it was a fabulous bit of football. I was right in line with the back heel then Egeli’s sensational pass and it was absurdly good - blink of an eye and they were opened up.

Absolute nonsense. That performance was a real step in the right direction.

As well organised, with and without the ball as we have seen all season, and for the first time it felt like a consistent side following a brilliant result Saturday.

Thought at times we looked slick with the ball, with final decision letting us down a little a couple of times, and then without the ball we looked really well organised and structured with our pressing, or not to press.

Really positive performance for me.
