| Sad news on 18:23 - Dec 18 with 2157 views | dirtyboy | Didn’t know him personally, but I’m very sorry to hear this news, and for his friends, family, and everyone at the club who knew him. This does get mentioned from time to time, but perhaps not often enough, and in this case sadly too late. If anyone reading this is ever struggling or having suicidal thoughts, please reach out to someone, a friend, family member, or even someone on here you might have a bit in common with. Sometimes just sending a message can make a difference. Speaking from first-hand experience, reaching out for help really is worth it. If you’re having doubts or feeling overwhelmed, please don’t carry it on your own. | | | |

Without going into too many details this is someone who travelled the length and breadth of the country on the coaches to watch Ipswich. Those who use the coaches will know the person in question
I didn't know him well, he wasn't a friend as such, but we chatted on those long journeys, always acknowledged each other and shared a joint love in Ipswich.
This has shocked me somewhat. Saw him only the other day and seemed fine. Which goes to show, we have no idea what is going on behind closed doors. However much it pains me to agree with anything the scum have done, their video about mental health is ringing true tonight.
Check in on people please - just a call to say hello. I am as guilty as the next for not doing it

| Sad news on 20:14 - Dec 18 with 1551 views | WickhamsLeftBoot | A familiar face in away games, someone I always saw at some point on the coach journey up. An away day never felt ‘complete’ without seeing him. Will continue to repeat this, I’m a mental health first aider, always happy to chat. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

| Sad news on 21:07 - Dec 18 with 1314 views | Hugoagogo_Reborn | Such a sad piece of news. Also a good reminder to anyone of us who posts passionately on here and (at times) resorts to digs and jibes. We are all human beings, please be kind. You never know what goes on behind closed doors with other posters, and it is easy to say pretty harsh things in the heat of the moment, thinking it will all be forgotten the next day, but sometimes it won't. Just remembering that we could be the straw that breaks the camel's back is the best judge of our online behaviour. | |

| Sad news on 21:21 - Dec 18 with 1237 views | football | I posted about this the other day. Andrew or tap tap as I called him as he always tapped the luggage compartment on the away buses.. Travelled with him to many away games and always chatted. Was a lovely person, a gentle soul who would have no angst with anyone. Its always hard when its someone you know and makes you realise how important it is to check in on people | | | |

| Sad news on 00:38 - Dec 19 with 865 views | Whos_blue | I saw the initial thread. So sad when someone just doesn't see a way out. I don't know them but I think I recognise them from the NSL. Thoughts with all involved and as has been said, but so worth repeating, look out for one another. | |
