The reason he didn't sign for us even though he'd been down at the training ground was because Wolves and Fulham made late approaches for him and he wanted to play in the prem. They ran out of time to get a deal done in the summer window.
As you say, Wolves don't look like such a good bet now. Assuming they are still interested I would not be at all surprised to see him move to Craven Cottage. |  |

I would imagine he is lucky the ref saw it from that angle and it must have looked far less of a red from his. Clear red from that footage.

He is and is directly behind the player who is fouled. All I can imagine is that it didn't look anything like as high nor as late from that position. From our angle, we can see how far away the ball is and how high the challenge is. I am sure that if the ref saw this angle he would have given a red. | |

It's so late that it is an off-the-ball offence for me. If you hack someone down shin height off the ball it's a red isn't it? I agree it could have been more violent but I would be very surprised if one of our players made that challenge and stayed on the pitch. | |
