Met Office has the feels like temperature at kick off of 1 degree, 0 at the start of the 2nd half and -1 by the end of the game.

Wind from the northwest, so all of us in the SBR and the south end of the Cobbold will get the worst of it.

The thrilling thing for us here is our boiler packed in on Christmas Eve - being replaced on Jan 6th. Joyous Noël.

Feel your pain. My aga decided to play up in the winter of 1963. Took repair man 3 weeks to get to us. He only lived 2 miles away.
Hot water bottles and quilts a plenty. Try and stay in 1 room for as long as possible. Take care.

The heating and the wood burner are on here at the Cambs border. Keep warm all.

I know that was then, but it could be again..

You’re missing the wind chill, which is now saying -3 to -5 through the afternoon tomorrow.

Portsmouth on Sunday is 0 to -4 through the afternoon.

Definitely need layers tomorrow. 🥶

Our feed water pipe froze up in early 1963. No running water for 6 weeks. Had to have a bowser lorry deliver water in the meantime. Not that I cared, I was only 6 months old at the time.

I’ve dug out the ski gear. Not the skis - getting up the stairs might be an issue with those though leaving might be a little quicker,

I'll raise you...

Bought an old house few years ago, a proper doer upper. Waited 3 years before I had the money to afford a replacement boiler...luke warm showers & chilly as.

Mate of a mate came round to quote and pointed out if I turned a button on the boiler I could both save 3k and have hot showers. Didn't know whether to laugh or cry 😢

Always read the manual people...

Only got one table tennis bat (very old). Hopping about on that doesn’t sound a great idea.
