| Hairshirts and penance for all the KM doubters please 18:31 - Jan 1 with 871 views | jasondozzell | A very professional display. It's so exciting to see the relationships on the pitch and the team identity develop. We are really beginning to look like an established side dripping with power and menace. Some lovely football played and a big part of it down to the sense that the players really understand each other. Leif and Jaden now working so well as a unit. Relationships and understanding all over the park. And all it took was time... Funny that! Good control of the game. Their goal was a good one but our reaction was excellent. We have learnt from the game at their place etc. Azor outstanding. I thought Jens had an excellent game. Love the work ethic in the team. Jaden's work out of possession strong example of that. Surprise, surprise. KM has built another exciting team playing exciting football. Squad rotation now looking very smart. He's kept players happy and involved. There's an alternate reality where Clarke or Philogene sulk because they aren't always starting. Club in a strong position going into window. We are going to win the league. This season has been one of the most interesting and enjoyable because KM has built the team almost from scratch whilst flying the plane. It's a privilege to watch him do it. Chuba had a good game and so pleased he scored. He will no doubt contribute in the second half of the season. These are great days to be a Town fan. Begone moaners! | | | | |

We were awful. Since then, we have won 9, drawn 4, lost 2. Think it’s fair to say, Kieran has definitely sorted it out!

Yeah but the point is that KM wont have changed anything after that Charlton game The reason we're here is because he trusted the long term process over being reactionary. Anyone calling for him to go at that point just displaying ignorance imo. [Post edited 1 Jan 19:57]

Yep. There's a section of our support that should feel pretty ashamed of themselves.

Not going to lie, I came away from that Charlton game very concerned, and said so on here, but I've also firmly been of the view that we needed to allow time for the new team to properly knit together. I'm a man that understands patience! With each passing week we're looking more like the sort of team we expected to see this season, even if there have been some bumps along the way. Let's hope there is still more improvement to come!

Yeah the fact that it feels as if there's more improvement to come is really exciting. I'm already beginning to feel this side has a higher ceiling than the great 23/24 team. [Post edited 1 Jan 20:02]

| Hairshirts and penance for all the KM doubters please on 20:02 - Jan 1 with 558 views | Swansea_Blue | It’s too early to gloat as there’s still a long way to go. Yet KM has made numpties of the traitors at least twice now and it’s looking like us faithful could well be rewarded again. This is a special Traitors edition post ;). Seriously, you’d think people would have learnt from the previous times he was being written off. But apparently not. I doubt the flouncing is done either. Another slightly dodgy patch and people will be sharpening their knives again. There’s very little patience shown by some fans these days. | |

It's crazy isn't it. The most animated the crowd got today is after we conceded having a go at the team and it was as if they were almost waiting to stick the knife in. The faithful will win this series though. No doubt about it!

When we were pointing out it was a marathon and we were less than halfway through I didn't think we would chase down second this quickly. I'd like to see a line drawn under the drama though. We're in a great position. Lets all unite, enjoy it and hopefully, complete the job.

| We are in a decent position..... on 20:36 - Jan 1 with 368 views | Bloots | ...partly down to us, at last putting a consistent run together, but also down to other teams hitting an inconsistent run. It's the nature of this league, but ultimately we are currently round about where we should be given the squad at his disposal. But there's always room for improvement and there is certainly always the option for fans to ask questions of the manager. I thought his substitutions were generally a bit odd today. Taking off Nunez was in itself odd, but to then put Clarke into his position compounded that decision. To then make another round of substitutions and end up with Taylor playing there and having Young in Taylor's position was just confusing. We lost all our shape attacking intent at a time when Oxford could have potentially stolen a point. But hey, we won. So we shouldn't mention it I guess. | |

| Hairshirts and penance for all the KM doubters please on 20:37 - Jan 1 with 359 views | FrimleyBlue | You are correct. However there are a few things mckenna did change that many wanted.. Akpom was not a 10. Despite KMs constant use of him there for example. Alot of our 'form' came from the transition of introducing nunez into the 10 role for which he wasn't purchased to play in and that for me at least is one of the biggest reasons for this upturn in results. The needless rotation of kipre and greaves. Having a partnership form over a rotated cb pairing has lead to much better defensive performances. Its all good for everyone town related and it's great where everyone can all be singing from the same hymnsheet but lets not go down the route of gloating as most of what people wanted have happened and its lead to better results...... Imo of course. | |

Coventry was a standard setter, and I thought we followed it up with another good display against a tough side, an organised one and a different sort of game. Naturally the game wasn’t as open, but thought there was only one team that really showed a good level of quality. Coventry could and should be a turning point in what levels we can actually achieve, it was a standard setter, and consistency now the key, if we can achieve that we could really turn it on between now and the end of the season towards the finish line.
