| Cameron Humphreys conundrum.... 12:21 - Jan 8 with 1305 views | Marshalls_Mullet | I think he needs to make a permanent move. If he's not playing regularly for Town now, I don't think he ever will. He may be better served joining a top League 1 club rather than a Championship club fighting relegation. I hope he gets a good move and thrives. [Post edited 8 Jan 12:21]

| Cameron Humphreys conundrum.... on 12:33 - Jan 8 with 1213 views | soupytwist | If I were him and discovered that the talks to send me back out to Wycombe have 'stalled' I'd be drafting my transfer request. If a League One loan isn't what the club wants, why did talks with Wycombe even start? Wycombe are 10th in League 1 currently, I doubt too many of those above them would be as keen as Wycombe probably are. Lee Grant's Huddersfield, currently fourth and equal on points with the teams in 5th and 6th could be about to lose their on loan Chelsea attacking midfielder Leo Castledine so that could be a possibility | | | |

Had he come through 5 years earlier it might've been a very different story for him. As you say I can't see him getting close to meaningful minutes with us, whether we go up or not. Probably best for all parties that he moves on.

Both have been fringe players for three or more seasons and whilst both are talented players neither are good enough for Premier League football and that surely is our aim. It's really sad because teams these days want ready made players and Town are buying in players who they believe will be able to be sold on. We had Delap and Hutchinson last season. Now we have Philogene and in a few years from now Egeli. My concerns are that at some stage you buy a player or players and it doesn't work out and you end up relegated, when although our lords and Masters want a long term stay in the Prem, they also want the club to make money through transfers and personally I see a lot of problems with this.

Cant have been great for his development to spend half a season in the bench (or not even in the squad). Did we expect others to move on and now that has changed (Taylor?!). Really don’t understand that one.

He may have been the one that has said he wants Champ football though.

I think our approach is to look at what is best for the development of the player (pretty sure KM has talked openly about this). They don't want players going on loan if it doesn't benefit them. I think Hump has even mentioned that he felt better served training and being part of the first team squad than merely going out on loan. I've no doubt we looked over the summer - maybe there were options but maybe the Club and the Player between them didn't think they were better than staying at PR.

He could be in the team/squad in 2 years time if he continues to improve. I think if we wanted to offload him, we would have by now, either on a loan or a free transfer. We've let other players go on free's etc. Maybe he doesn't want to go to League 1 again and wants to try his hand in the Championship. I'm not sure any of us know.

| Cameron Humphreys conundrum.... on 06:21 - Jan 9 with 414 views | Blue_Heath | If I were him I'd be looking to move, it seems there is no progression now to get into the first team as we'd rather spend £m on a player, the reason I believe Dyer left? Hopefully it works out at Huddersfield for him we both go up and then we can get a fee for him? | |

He needs to play and looks out of our plans (plus, and whisper it quietly, but I’ve a sneaky suspicion we’re going to win the league and will need better next year).
