Surprisingly good Liz Truss video on 09:29 - Jan 14 by Herbivore
She's a moron, mate. Broke the economy and set the country back years despite being outlasted as PM by a lettuce.
I would concur with you assessment of her, until I watched that video. There is clearly a brain in there and she makes some interesting points. Watch it and say if you feel the same afterwards. Quite interesting chat I thought.

Always important to keep an open mind, I started...
She took about 3 sentences to imply the reason for our decades of economic stagnation is down to migration.
That is patently bollox. Stopped watching at that point as is clear her understanding of UK economics is as poor as I suspected.

But she speaks so much BS, that whilst I'm sure she does make some good points in there and clearly has a high level of intelligence to get to where she did, she is so far past being given any benefit of the doubt.
She's now just a right wing grifter, trying to get on where the money is with the MAGA online right, no better than a Tommy Robinson - I won't be giving her a click, she's made her bed and no coming back from there

In the click economy we don't need to "give her a chance"
As an ex-PM she will live a plum life for the rest of her days, and I would rather never hear from her again

"...decades of economic stagnation is down to migration."
Indeed Lagos, about as patently untrue as you can get. Our ills as a country have very little, if anything to do with migration.
I'm sure Badge will attest to the fact that you only have to look at the NHS to understand that without people coming to work in the NHS from other Countries, it wouldn't exist. I'll add that this applies to the NHS directly but also indirectly via its supply chains.
I fecking hate this narrative. Ostensibly, our issues lie with things like our reaction to the 2007/8 financial crisis where productivity in the UK weakened sharply. When productivity stalls, wages and living standards stall too, the ONS and Bank of England both describe this as a central UK challenge. Add to that Brexit....and then Covid. I could go further back but can't be arsed but, no, let's blame it on migrants, coz why the feck not!
EDIT: I'm pretty sure that studies show the benefit to UK GDP of migration is a net positive.
The distinct lack of critical thinking and understanding shouldn't be surprising but is still depressingly scary.

Watched about a minute of it and she managed to talk so much boll0cks in that minute that I had to stop for my own sanity.
It’s important to keep an open mind and with this in mind I did watch some of the video. I guess if I were to use a footballing analogy, I watched the extended highlights rather than the full ninety minutes. But I think that I was still able to get the feel of her thoughts.
The interviewer (whoever he is) is incredibly friendly towards her and doesn’t challenge her on anything. Both lay the boot into Labour and everything is Blair’s fault - she resents that judges and the Bank of England for not implementing her policies. In truth, no one knows better than her.
Immigration is bad, net zero is bad and Conservatism is bad unless it’s the right-wing version of it.
She is not an interesting character and doesn’t say anything new at all.
I found what she said about judges a bit worryingly - she wants them to be appointed by politicians and lose their impartiality.
Everything is woke - the Church of England is woke, the civil service is woke etc etc. The interviewer admits that he doesn’t know anything about net zero but still concludes that it’s woke and stupid.
She was ousted by non-conservative thinking colleagues and by wokist banks. She was scapegoated by them and by the deep state. Everything is broken and we aren’t that far off continuous blackouts despite having no evidence of this.
It is not at all interesting and she issue nothing interesting - it’s a case study in someone who obviously thinks that they are much more intelligent than what they are trying to gaslight everyone else. She takes no accountability for her actions and has no self-awareness at all.
