| Wes has made a big difference 14:21 - Jan 17 with 946 views | Swansea_Blue | since coming on. As promising as Walle Egeli is, he’s wasteful. Wes has added the extra quality in the end product. Gets his head up and makes the right decision. Great see him back. I feared for him after all the new signings, but he’s probably still our best RW. | |

| Wes has made a big difference on 14:23 - Jan 17 with 882 views | Blue_Uprising | And he gives his man an issue, as he can go inside or out and it gives the defender more to think about. Well drilled oppositions can crowd Egeli out in that right hand role. | | | |

Do you see him as a 10? | |

| Wes has made a big difference on 14:36 - Jan 17 with 651 views | Vic | Egeli will improve, but Brns ability to beat his man round the outside was a big difference today. Great to have two players in that at position - and super to see Burns come back and make a difference. | |

| Wes has made a big difference on 14:54 - Jan 17 with 495 views | londonben | I do think we’ve suffered a bit having both left and right wingers wanting to come inside all the time…Burns out there with pace and wanting to go on the outside really stretches play and makes a lot more space for the left winger and 10 to use. Team looks a lot more balanced with him out there. Egeli as a 10 is the future I think, but might not be ready for that quite yet. Nice problem to have! | | | |

Id only test egeli in the striker role off the bench I can't see the 10 without nunez in it, and sammy showed when he came on as a sub, he works well against tired legs in it. Stick egeli uptop.

I don't personally understand why KM keeps going with Egeli out there.. If he was a hutch, quick footed inside or out player i'd get it, but egeli is so one footed the last time he went outside we scored from a cross. There were 3/4 passes to him today just inside halfway, he had one to beat to get away, everytime he tried the same left footed flick and lost the ball each time, there was no attempt at any other skill, i feel if you're up egelis backside, you're not getting beat, just show him inside and let others come across and mop up. I don't mean to make it out he's a bad player, he's not, hes got a very very bright future, but i can't help but think we are regressing him on the right.

| Wes has made a big difference on 15:02 - Jan 17 with 394 views | Eireannach_gorm | Wes is a more effective winger than Egeli. I don't think Walle beat his man all game but there is huge potential there. Probably the best way to play them at the moment with Wes coming in to close out the game. | | | |

It’s seems to me we’re waiting for it to click properly in terms of an attacking sense Trouble is its taking its time but I have a feeling once it does Egeli will be another level. Just seeing his strength, vision at time and work rate makes me think he’s well worth having plenty of patience with Wes will push him on I’m sure

| Wes has made a big difference on 15:08 - Jan 17 with 331 views | MrPotatoHead | Wes has had the equivalent of about 1 game of football since coming back and has a goal, an assist, and very close to a 2nd assist. He’s done more than Egeli has done in weeks. You’re right Egeli has been wasteful. His finishing hasn’t been particularly good and his delivery from wide areas is even worse. He’s young and we need to give him time but he isn’t producing the goods yet. Great to have Burns back. | | | |
| Wes has made a big difference on 15:49 - Jan 17 with 127 views | HighgateBlue | Absolutely. So far, it's been all that we could have hoped for, having Burns back. The way he cuts into that penalty area on the angle, as if he's being controlled on some video game. He's still got his pace, he isn't afraid to try to go past his man, he manages to find himself with options in the box, and then he picks the right one. And executes it. Hopefully Egeli can learn from him - they're different players, so it'd be good for Egeli to add a couple of additional tricklets to his armoury. Love Egeli, think he'll be big, but right now still learning on the job. Glad he's getting minutes, but always a delight when Burns comes on. To have him and Clarke on the bench in the Champ is a joy to behold. I seem to recall that Burns' reviews in the Champ last time round were a little luke warm compared with the love for him in league 1, but he was so effective then, and he's so effective now. It means that to all intents and purposes it doesn't matter that McAteer has, let's say, not lived up to his price tag. A striker who can finish, and we're golden. | | | |
