| Bringing in a new extreme rule into football 23:16 - Jan 18 with 516 views | FrimleyBlue | If you had the opportunity for 1 season. What extreme rule would you bring into football for one season just to see what effect it would have. Mine. A 0-0 draw results in both sides losing a point - Imagine the carnage in the final 5 minutes. | |

All players caught wrestling at corners have to leave the pitch and sit on the naughty step for 5 minutes.

Bugs the life out of me that "listen" has become something that people say before answering a question. Person X is stood in front of you, and has asked a question, they are listening to you without being told to do so. So rude. I've over thought this, haven't I

I would go with whatever body part they simulate having been injured has to be subjected to a real life version of that injury. "Oh, elbowed in the face, were you? Did it feel like THIS?!?!?!!" No. I don't have anger issues.....

I'm fine with that if it precedes the death penalty.

| Bringing in a new extreme rule into football on 01:29 - Jan 19 with 309 views | ArnoldMoorhen | High powered fire hose on each touchline level with the edge of the penalty area, so four in total. Any player can go off the pitch and operate the hose instead at any time. An attacker could aim it at the goalkeeper, as their team mate goes through one on one with the keeper. Imagine the fun at a penalty shootout if each team had a man on a hose! It would come into its own in FA Cup giant killing scenarios, where non-League teams could stick their part-time firefighter on hose duty, and take out Haaland every time he gets a sniff. | | | |

They can then dissect and correct the post so that the crowd is educated about what really goes on at football...

| Bringing in a new extreme rule into football on 06:32 - Jan 19 with 144 views | Churchman | I’d get rid of red and yellow cards. The Ref and Lino’s get Tazers instead. Serious foul play? Wallop. Diving, time wasting and cheating - zzzz and free perm time. Stealing yards for a throw in - bang. I’d also issue tazers to the mascots. They can patrol the edge of the pitch and any dismal coward of a supporter throwing abuse towards one of our players gets a few 100 volts. Any supporter not dishing it up to the opposition like the Blackburn ex-scum bloke got on Saturday, also gets a dose. Discipline on and off the pitch: sorted! | | | |

| Bringing in a new extreme rule into football on 08:01 - Jan 19 with 26 views | Kropotkin123 | Think this one needs fleshing out more. Losing a point could see a situation where a team decides to score an own goal to lose 1-0 to take 0 points, instead of drawing 0-0 and getting -1 point, in order to finish in the top two, reach the play-offs or avoid relegation. If you want to encourage scoring you could have scored draws at 2 points, wins at 4 points, and no score draws at 1 point. Or you could have a loss and a no score-draw count as 0 points. Score draws at 1 point and wins at 3 points. Maybe this is what you were suggesting? | |
