I think your last sentence is spot on - he'd have been here now if we wanted him.
Which is strange as I thought he got better the longer he was here (rewatch the 2-1 Cov win and he was superb on and off the ball coming on as a sub) and really wished we had a full season from him as he may have developed like Omari did. | | | |

They're very much capable, their performances, like Southampton and Sheff Utd suggest they should be much higher up the table.

Think his challenge is going to be proving he can be the main character somewhere rather than a member of the supporting cast. For all we loved him here, he never really did it from the start of games. Same story at Burnley last season. | | | |
