Would it be because he has scored 4 goals in 3 matches and has consistently scored goals when on the pitch this season? He and Philogene have their feet in this team this season. If Dan Neil can be what we have lacked alongside Matusiwa and we can get a striker in we will be doing very well.

Is it because one more person in the Champ has scored more goals than him?

The most forward thinking and positive player in our 'championship dream team'. It shouldn't be a surprise.

I believe it’s because he’s scored the second most goals of any player in the league.

Helpful that Neil is mates with Clarke and obviously plenty of game time together.

A cheeky bid for Ellis Simms? Or is he not the sort of striker who would work for us?

I am fairly sure they wouldn't. Hence why it would be very cheeky even if it was a big offer.

It's not really surprising. He's been Dead Eye Dick from the penalty spot, and a real fox in the box in plenty of other games. Long may it continue.

Which is just as well, as is JP's home performances ( shame he's yet to turn up away ). JC's Xg is insane, it's not normally sustainable. JP's is far more than you'd expect it to be as well. if they return to what would normally be expected, as things stand, we are in trouble.

On the flip side, if Mehmeti maintains his and we get a striker who gets similar, we will be flying.
