Was listening to Mick Mills waxing lyrical about him saying we should bring him in. I have to say I’ve always liked the look of him and looked a constant threat on the highlights. Although probably not one on our radar. Let’s hope someone like Surridge comes in by tomorrow.

Jebbison looked very good yesterday, not convinced by Surridge, was very average when he was last in the Championship but he’s better than the dross we’ve got up top at the moment.

He was excellent yesterday, and one thing we had which is missing from our attackers (apart from Burns) is pace.

He's got 5 goals all season, he looked decent on the break yesterday as there was acres to run into, but he ultimately missed the target with the one excellent chance he had.

He was a real handful and made Kipre look poor, however he did miss his one big chance - just as Hirst did - would ITFC fans be so complimentary about him if he was missing them for us?

We've already got 2 strikers doing a decent job of running around, battling with CBs and missing good chances.

We don’t play many teams with a really high line to take advantage of like he did yesterday, but I thought he was impressive.

Last time in the champ Surridge had a big help in getting Forrest promoted with nearly a 1 in 2 goal ratio. He's just scored 31 goals in a season. But yes let's go for the lad we've just seen have a decent game and has scored 5 goals....

I don't mind Jebbison and he could be one for the future. But we need a Moore type get it done now signing. Surridge is a lot better than people seem to think.

Problem is he'd probably grow roots before we got it out of defence and over the half way line. We only have one way of playing.....

What’s the point in buying a striker whose finishing is no better than the ones we have already. He was ok but frankly based on yesterday I don’t think he’s much of an improvement if any than the players already signed.

His pace and movement was good for sure, if he could finish he'd be in the Premier League

But he couldn’t finish and had more than one chance. I’m not saying he’s a poor player and perhaps would be one for the future he’s not what we need at the moment. We don’t need another project 5 goals in 26 appearances in all competitions for Preston hardly seems the stats to want to
Bring him in.

No agreed, he adds something different but we don't need more players who lack composure

My mate is a season ticket holder at Nashville and was over for our game on Saturday and says he would be surprised if they were to let their star player leave just two weeks before the start if the MLS but thinks he would be an excellent addition for us.

If our strikers were able to play quickly on the break against a defence camped in our half, they'd be equally, if not more effective. Particularly Azon, he's always on the shoulder and he would have a field day in that kind of setup.

He would still need to stick it in the net, and so far the evidence that he's good at doing that is strikingly absent. His shot conversion rate is FIVE per cent. That's a wow figure for a centre forward.

He's only one culprit, but our finishing is not good enough across the board, despite the hundreds of millions spent.

There are 13 teams in the division whose 'goals scored' is higher than their 'big chances missed'. We are not one of those 13. That is a staggering underperformance.
