Trouble is, we’ll never know. He’s poisoned the American institutions and the meaning of truth so much that nobody knows who’s lying any more. Was it him? Or is it the DOJ when they say they have no evidence that such a thing was ever declared to them?
Absolutely he’s always thinking of enriching himself and he is impulsive, but it’s not only a knee jerk strategy. He’s following the autocratic/dictator playbook almost to the letter (albeit faster), so this is all thought through.
