But it think he plays the Matusiwa role in the cup and then will come on from the bench in the league. I will go: Palmer Johnson Kipre Greece's Boniface Neil Taylor McAteer Akpom Egeli Hirst League Walton Furlong Oshea Kipre Davis Matusiwa Cajuste Burns Mehmeti Clarke Azon

| Your team for Wrexham (both games) on 10:38 - Feb 13 with 947 views | _CliveBaker_ | Tonight I would pick but don't think McKenna will: Palmer - nailed on Johnson - RB. Nailed on to start, only question is where. Could be LB. Ultimately at least 1 of the regular back 4 will start, but I'd leave Furlong out owing to the 9 yellows issue. Baggott - I don't think he'll start, I think it'll be Greaves & Kipre but I'd give Baggott the start. Kipre - 1 of the regular back 4 has to start, I think Kipre to give Leif and O'Shea the rest. Greaves - LB. Could start Johnson here, Greaves inside and then Furlong at RB but I wouldn't. Neil and Cajuste - I think this is nailed on as both could do with a start. McAteer - nailed on Akpom - in the 10. Can't see Egeli starting here. Clarke - with Bill Jean close to full fitness I think Clarke will start again. Hirst League will depend on a number of things, not least Burns, Nunez & Philogene's fitness and how we get through tonight. [Post edited 13 Feb 16:15]

I largely agree but can't see us risking Dara - i'd expect Baggott instead tonight.

Aside from that, I would make that about right. It will be interesting to see if he gives any younger players any part of it tonight on the bench. I would also expect Taylor to be involved tonight but agree it would be good to give Neil a good amount of the game. Starting could be any 2 of the 3 suggested.

Agree about the balance. Appreciate my team is much changed and I personally would rotate quite a bit, but I wouldn't be surprised if its limited to 4 or 5 rather than most of the XI. 6 days since our last game and 8 days until we're back at Wrexham. A busy schedule over the next 5 weeks or so but getting some minutes in tonight could be seen as a good thing rather than a risk.

McKenna won't care much if we lose tonight I suspect. We have such depth that it'll be pretty strong by default but I will be surprised if O'Shea, Davis, Matusiwa, Clarke start. [Post edited 13 Feb 16:15]

I think that'll be very close. Feels like a good opportunity for Egeli to start, but then its also true of McAteer and only 1 can on the right. Perhaps the other off the bench, or maybe Egeli more centrally but I make that less likely. I'd rest Davis personally, I can see either Johnson or Greaves at LB.

Agree on Egeli, Clive - I worry a poor/quiet showing in a central role will actually up the pressure on him. McKenna will know that. Think he'll be the right-side sub.

I wonder whether he might start Egeli on the left?

Akpom came on there against Derby, so not unthinkable that its Akpom - Egeli - McAteer as a 3 from left to right. Selections will be interesting, I think the only nailed on ones are Palmer, Neil, and probably Cajuste. Johnson will start, but not nailed on which side IMO.

It would surprise me if Akpom is playing, and he isn't playing as the 9.
