No improvement from hirst
Akpom trying but having a poor game. Keeps trying to be direct but is easily tackled and dropping to deep imo.
Mcateer not being fed the ball despite making runs but should also have an assist again.
Baggott having a torrid time at lb
Greaves. Dunno what it is with him but he makes you feel uncomfortable watching him.
Positives
Kipre blocking alot of crosses
We had a good opening spell
Egeli pressing well in the middle and nice to see him there
Minutes for neal
Some nice turns from cajuste
Some important match minutes for most. Thats all im kinda taking from tonight. Because of the additional fixtures I dont care about a result. But would like to see a better performance 2nd half.

Left side is an issue. Maybe Akpom with Davis would be fine but good was me Baggott isn't having a good time. Frankly, he's never impressed me but he looks lost at sea where he is. I'd assumed we'd be playing Greaves at LB.

It was a good start, but our front line have just been poor.
Hirst again can't shoot properly in an exact replica of a pass he received the other week.
Akpom doesn't really do anything.
Walle-Egeli is anonymous. Presses well, but I want him on the ball dictating the play, being creative.
MacAteer works hard but is not effective.
Cajuste coasting.
Neil getting minutes in and looks tidy.
Baggott is getting targeted.

A decent 10 mins and then it was all downhill after they got into the game. We’re too slow and passive again. No aggression on the ball, no urgency and desire. It needs to be much better.
In that 10 mins I thought Akpom was going to have a good game and McAteer was lively. But we miss those two chances and then we’ve done nothing really. |  |

Everyone’s been talking him up for months, but for me he’s our weak link. Mind you, Furlong and O’Shea are excellent defenders and Leif is just superb, so that’s not as damning as it sounds. | |
