Absoutely no effort to win that game.
McKenna should be as ashamed as the players.

Passing a ball to a Wrexham player and no real attempts to score was embarrassing.

It makes you wonder if fans should just stop buying tickets to cup games if clubs no longer care at all. What is the point? I feel sorry for lower league clubs however, as the FA Cup is an important source of income for them.

Whilst I don’t think KMc will be as hurt as if we lost next week, to say we had no effort to win the game is clearly false.

We didn’t show enough quality to win the game, but our effort is never in question.

We still had big moments, within a poor performance, no one injured, minutes in the legs, needed rest for Leif and Azor. Back to the bigger picture.

So no one getting injured is what this game was about ? A cup exit is ok ?
Why bother entering the competition ?

My opinion is that footballers and a football club are duty bound to win a game of football for their 2000 + travelling supporters.

I don’t think KMc travelled hoping we’d be beaten this evening.

There was a group of players starting that cost the club over £50m, a shuffled pack, that looked like it lacked connections across the board, also lacked quality on the evening, but KMc didn’t put a group of kids together, I can assure you his team talk was not, ‘let’s lose this one lads’.

We were poor on the night, not in effort but certainly in quality, that’s not grounds to demand money back, it’s part of following your club win or lose.

Why is no 2nd choice player getting injured such a big deal as to negate that oerformance

Where have said that?

I’ve literally said it was a poor performance, but no injuries within the group is a positive, as is rest for Leif and Azor.

It isn’t one or the other, both can be true.

There were no positives.

You are avoiding the fact that supporters travelled to see a competitive game of football. Regardless.
A long journey and a cold night. Little attempt to score .

You say that, but Hirst fluffed a really big chance, Akpom missed the target from even closer in the first half. Baggott came close and right at the very end Jack Clarke was merely inches away from a tap in.

Even in a really bad performance, we had some big moments.

It wasn't as if a message wasn't given that the effort would be less than necessary to win.
Having said that considering the fact that 100% effort wasn't forthcoming we only lost one nil and that was most likely due to our fourth choice centre back.
I did think a few players came out with credit, namely Cajuste and McAteer.
Can't say the same for many others though. Neil was steady, Egeli looked lost as number 10 but did better when McAteer was pulled. Kipre was replaced and I'd suggest in the league fixture we play O'Shea and Greaves and of course Leif and Furlong will return along with Matisuwa.
I'd start with Azon as number 9, Clarke and McAteer.

I was born underwater, I dried out in the sun. I started humping volcanoes baby, when I was too young.

We lost 1-0 away to a team three places below us in the league. Can only assume you’ve started supporting us after cup humiliations against Barrow, Newport, Maidstone… if last night deserved a refund, those games should’ve resulted in fans’ mortgages being paid off.

What 2000 travelling supporters were they?

Are you suggesting Wrexham’s away end was damgerously over capacity?

Ffs, give it a rest. I went to the game and I don’t need a refund, but thanks for thinking of me.

You should be ashamed writing such nonsense. We lost a game of football 1-0 away to a strong team ffs.

Fair play for being a voice of reason. It was everyone who wants choice to buy a ticket and go. Everyone knew the score : will be a very changed team with less chance of progressing But will try - exactly what happened but we weren't good enough on the night.

My absolute respect to all that went and gave the boys support.

Didn't enjoy losing. Can quickly move on though with the real aim.
