Superb 24 months awful last 2 seasons helped spend almost two hundred million.
Although I'm so grateful for the happy times and back to back promotions I think the sparkle has gone. Only Coventry away have I thought well that was good . And for those who say be grateful after where we come from we never had the investment then. I do wonder if comes summer and if we fail to go up should there be changes.

Let's be clear here, this Championship league is p*ss poor.
McKenna hasn't got a bloody clue how to get the best out of this squad. 10 bloody changes.... " first team" given two weeks off whilst the a so called " lesser " capable Wrexham players maintain form by playing FA cup game then a midweek game and look as fresh as a daisy today. Quicker, MUCH quicker, and having a manager who KNOWS how to get the best out if his players..

I can't blame McKenna for last season. He had his back against the wall. The club grew too quickly for our scouting network and the squad simply wasn't good enough. We took a gamble on Phillips which, unfortunately, didn't work out.

I thought we looked professional at Derby.

Thanks for telling us. I’m amazed. Why didn’t you mention it before? Might have helped if you had.

Oh and thanks for clarifying that £200m was spent. (It’s actually £213m), nothing was recouped in player sales and lastly that all our players have no value. Not a penny.

And as for the poster who doesn’t trust Ashton with money, I take it he will be taking over soon? Him or darkhorse who will be clattering his keyboard no doubt shortly.

I agree with you on last season but this season in a poor Championship we have been poor on the whole.
If you look at what we have spent and our managers salary it is simply not good enough.

Reminds me of Burley. Great with a modest spend, but given good money to spend, it was wasted and made us worse! Under Burley, Serini and George spring to mind.

McK still dared to be so cocky and said he didn't need any striker in Jan even when a list was drawn up for him.

Today was a good example why we need a no.9. Look at Moore.

I don't think Moore would have helped us today. We got outplayed in midfield and were awful in defense.

And replace them with who? Chansiri knows how to run a club. The Blackburn and Blackpool guy Oyston does too. How about them?

I’m glad you knowledgeable people have told us we have spent money on players. I don’t think anyone realised.

Back to replacing them you are obviously in the know, let’s have some names, especially for the role of CEO. Since Gamechanger appointed him, perhaps they should go too. After all they’re accountable and you and others were clearly happier in the days of ‘our saviour’ Evans and that exciting football served up to eager crowds..

As for recruitment, they’ve described the process. You think they’ve both lied. Fine. Challenge them on it. Call them out. Let us know how you get on please.

We've not been good this season, other than the odd 20 minute spell in games. We look very disjointed. Reliance on individuals rather than cohesive team play is not working consistantly enough. Our recruitment over the past 24 months has been largely very poor. The failure to sign a striker in January was particular poor. Our stubborn insistance on slow play out from the back is frustrating. The frequent chopping and changing earlier in the season was self-destructive. Throwing the FA Cup looks like a mistake given we lost the following league game.

I'm not clamouring to get rid of McKenna, because he clearly can be successful in the right conditions. I don't think he is the messiah that some of our fans seem to think. But he is a solid manager, and that's probably the best we are likely to attract in our current situation.

That said, there comes a time when its apparent that all parties need a change. Players need a fresh voice. Managers need some "off time" to recover. If we don't go up this year, I could see it being this summer.

I expect Ashton will stick around. The CEO tends to be a more long term position. He will probably get another couple of managerial appointments.
