There have been a number of times over the last few years, where a key player has looked like he has been injured, or taken quite a heavy knock, where we haven't taken him off & let him play on for a while or even for the rest of the game. This has surprised me, and others too judging by some comments on here at the time, and has probably led to additional time off injured; Nunez was one of those times when I was surprised to see him continue to play on. |
Most players try to play on if they feel it's an impact injury vs muscle - it's very hard for a physio to diagnose a longer term impact of an injury in the midst of a game and generally are hugely dependent on how the player feels. |  | | |
