Never heard him so annoyed. He’s right, too. An absolute scandal of a decision.

Sounds like it was that prick Busby who flagged it too.

He's going to get a hell of a reception if he refs us again.

I'd not seen much on it but reading that it sounds pretty vindictive from the ref.

If that is correct, then it is because he has been criticised for penalty decisions.

PGMOL and the FA should be better than allowing that sort of obvious bias to push them into obviously bad and unjustifiable decisions.

I don’t blame him. Of all of the ridiculous decisions we’ve been on the end of lately this is by far the most ridiculous. I have a degree of sympathy when refs are making split second calls, but when they’ve had the best part of a week to watch back incidents and this is the conclusion they come to it’s unbelievable, and completely unacceptable.

I’d be less annoyed if there was clear and obvious video of wrongdoing. Even with blue glasses on I just don’t see it. And as KM says there are various scrums going on the whole time. I would be very very interested to know if Leicester made a complaint - and if they did I I hope they get relegated and go bust - or if it was the ref sitting down and watching the game back looking for something to fk us with. Something doesn’t smell right with this.

Busby was probably offended that we rightly pointed out he made a howler and saw an opportunity to stick it to us.

I wouldn’t have thought it was in Leicester’s interests to make a complaint. I guess you could argue he might be coming back fresher for games against some of their relegation rivals, but you could equally argue they would want us going into those games needing the wins rather than planning for playoffs.

Feels to me like someone being an arse after their public humiliation.

Is that right? Are you saying Busby was the one who reviewed it? Surely that can’t be right. If there’s a retrospective review of incidents in a game to assess where the ref got it wrong it would be nuts to let the ref do it.

Busby is a bitter c4nt. He didnt like the fact he got escorted off and messed up for the pen so has then found something after to rectify the situation. What an arrogant pr1ck.

It appears that way. We seem to have been the victims of an act of spite from a small man who's been called out for his professional incompetence.

The only possible positive I can take from it is that for all we know, Leif might have got a bad, or even season-ending,injury in one of the 3 games he’s having to sit out.

We’ll never know of course, but sometimes karma works in mysterious ways …

I hope we can fight this in court/with the FA. This smells of fraud to me. I don’t see Davis as a dirty player, it not his thing.

Unlikely, I would say, and even if we could I don't think it's a road we'd necessarily want to go down. There have always been people like Busby in the game - fragile little men revelling in their bit of power - and you just have to hope you avoid them.

Mind you, with his extensive contacts in the game I wouldn't be surprised if Ashton is waiting in the long grass for him one day.
