Cost of living starting to kick in?
2023/24 season this game would have sold out.
Only game that has sold out this year Norwich.
I guess with so many games on Tv/ fire sticks etc people have other alternative to watch games.
I assume if we do get promoted getting tickets for games wouldn’t be as much as a problem to obtain as last time in premier league
You only have to look at seasoned premier leagues clubs Brighton, Palace, Fulham,Everton, etc they always have spare seats

Agreed, should have dropped the prices when we were relegated. The support is there but 40 quid for a tier 2 game is a lot (especially given travel costs, food etc). It’s going the way of being a luxury for many people. | | | |

I go to most away games but I'm selective about home games. Ticket prices influence that, Southampton in August (being cat A) did for sure.
Not sure we needed to drop the prices, but removing the £2 deduction for being a member was in effect an increase (funnily enough not mentioned at the time) and a bit naughty, especially given you already need to spend £40 to buy a ticket.
Replacing the Cobbold isn't so much about increasing capacity, but enabling revenue on non-matchdays. We might as well increase capacity at the same time, but no lore than 33k-35k |  |

At the moment I can’t come but I had thought about it the other week and was put off coming by my good lady,anyway you are talking easily £100 per game if go to the random games. | |

well some of us made that point when everyone was full on for flattening the place and building a 100k seater stadium because of the claimed "demand".
even when the place was packed out last season,everyone I know who wanted a ticket to a home game, managed to get one, this season theyre getting to pick their favourite seats. | | | |

It’s not just about it being bigger, it’s replacing a stand that is at the end of its usable life and upgrading the clubs opportunities to increase financial opportunities on non match days. The size definitely needs to be carefully considered though | | | |

Certainly disappointing that the club doesn't reduce ticket prices for restricted views.
That said, there was no need for it in the Prem and, if they did, they'd have to cut prices for most of the Pioneer stand thanks to the new press box.
