Don't really agree. It was a (calculated) gamble that paid off. We were looking much more likely to score start of 2nd half and they scored with their first proper opening of the game. After that they grew in confidence and had the higher energy and intensity that allowed them to take advantage of going man to man. That said we still didn't make the most of our openings in the second half and they only looked threatening from set pieces. |  | | |

Wouldn't say he 'out thought' him at all. Think McKenna was spot on post-match that they just started going man-to-man and we weren't strong enough in the individual battles and then when we did come out on top of them there was poor execution in the breakaways. |  |

My thoughts entirely. AN was a pain when he was up the road and is a quality manager, so where has he been these last few years?
My issue too with KM is no plan B. After an excellent first it was time to respond to their changes but whatever he tried didn’t help. There must be a way to have both our leading scorers on the pitch at same time. It was madness taking off Clarke maybe move him inside to work with Jayden not instead of him!

Very bizarre knives out for McKenna from some quarters.
The main problem was our pisspoor execution on final ball and positioning. We had plenty of chances even when being physically dominated in the second half to score two or three more. Neil took a gamble to try and win the game and it almost paid off. If our attackers weren't so profligate with the ball (Clarke aside) the more canny Millwall fans would be calling Neil naive.
