But today after a couple of arrests - it sounded from the report as if they might be younguns who were basically paid (by Iran?) to do the attacks - sort of "antisemtism for hire" (my words).
If this is accurate it opens up a whole new aspect to how easy it is for antisemtites abroad to cause distress (and worse) in the UK.
Would mean we need the security services to get involved (already are?) in tackling this. Horrible, horrible stuff. |
Yes, an approach that Russia has been using across Europe for the last few years. There was an attack on an anti-government Iranian TV station in London last week as well. The pipeline seems to be graffiti -> arson -> assault or attempted murder.
Two arrests today at least.

Saying “gender is biological and binary” - not acceptable, get cancelled, flamed, lose your job.
Saying “genocide to all Jews” perfectly acceptable, no problem, no action perceived as necessary & none taken.

As with the other extremes, it's always there, hiding under rocks and whispering in the darkness until they can feel more confident in standing up.
Gaza has, quite rightfully, outraged lots of people. However it also means that Antisemites can now come out of the woodwork and stand in a crowd with those outraged by the Israeli governments actions in Palestine and cloak themselves in a "just cause" while spilling their hate against Jews. |  | | |
