Sorry, I couldn't resist.

I was in Kid Rock's bar in Nashville last summer. Had a great night. They were selling beer that tastes like "Red, White and Blue Mother fcukin freedom".

Probably a combo the great majority in here have never heard of. Parliament/Funkadelic, legends of funk/rock, been going since 1970 and still touring, ( not non stop! ). There's a new mothership under production due to be unwrapped in July I believe, not far short of the cost of the original one which was half a million dollars. Now, I'd pay good money to watch that descend onto the stage at Portman Road! Anyone that enjoys a guitar solo, listen to the original recording of " Maggot Brain " done by Eddie Hazel off the album of the same name. Usually sited by those who claim to know such things as one of the greatest guitar solo's ever.

Everyone has surely heard of them? Absolutely legendary, and hugely influential.

I'm in Italy, recently a concert 'Immersive, Pink Floyd' held in Lecco. Although a tribute band, from what l've seen online they sound very good and include light show etc. Tickets were 40euro and sold out. Imagine 'Pink Floyd' with laser lights at PR! I'm sure many of us would feel Comfortably Numb and Wished we could be here...

Ashton would probably say Morrissey or Roger Waters.
